+It was a tricky place to find as the lane with a ‘temporary’ looking sign for hotel looked like a rough track. Not much parking unless using muddy tracks at side of the house. The entrance was very grand and beautiful but after that everything looked as if it was in the middle of a renovation. Biggest disappointment was our room which did not look at all like the pictures on website. It was down a corridor, up and down stairs, past recently plastered areas and open storage areas. The bathroom though was large (especially compared with the bedroom!) and lovely. The view was good but there was a smell of burning wood all through our stay coming in through the window gap which we discovered in a walk around the building was coming from a big bio burner. +What a gem. Didnt know this place existed but so glad we found it. Jennifer and Paige were superstars, full of smiles and very welcoming. Just what weneeded after a drive from Weymouth. Food was very well presented and exceeded expectations. Tranquil and expansive grounds for dogs to run around. No traffic. Good for them. We would recommend and will definitely go back.
