+Beautifully decorated and a perfect location to explore the old town.
−There are a lot of steps up to the property so not suitable for those with mobility issues. No problem for our family of four though.

“A beautiful apartment in the heart of the Palace with easy access to travelling g around Split.”
+Beautiful apartment with lots of attention to detail and everything we needed. The views. Felt very homely. The host is lovely and very helpful and the location is amazing. In the middle of everything but also quiet at night (but not a few mins walk if you want lively though) If you happen to arrive by bus or train, you can walk there in about 10 minutes.
−It wasn’t so much a not liking, but the stairs into the property are not mostly lit at night, so we used the torch on our phone - but it is part of a really old Palace so that’s a very minor comment.

“Lovely apartment, great communication but in a residential block so you need to be quiet!”
+we were able to check in a little early after messaging the host. Communication was excellent.
−It is important you are aware that you need to be quiet in the apartment. The communal hallway is covered with messages asking for quiet between 10pm and 7am alongside threats to call the police. Clearly there have been issues with the people who live there. We had no problems but if you are planning to be up late then it may be something to know about in advance.

“Best place to stay in Split!”
+Beautiful apartment with a wonderful host! We stayed for 5 days and had everything we need. The beds are super comfortable and the living space is beautifully arranged. Very clean and has everything you need for your stay. Air conditioning and fans to keep us cool were amazing in the heat. Kitchen is well stocked if you plan to cook. The host is very responsive to all questions and shared several local recommendations of places to see and things to do! Location of the apartment is excellent - heart of the old city and everything you want to see is walking distance. Great restaurant choices all around. If you book any tours, meeting point for is just 2-5 mins. The promenade is an 8-10 min walk. Overall, I would highly recommend booking This apartment if you want to enjoy your stay in Split!

+Perfect location, fantastic apartment! Close to everything you want to see and do, restaurants are only a short walk, Mirela the host was very helpful.
−The stairs may be a challenge for some, we were perfectly fine with them.

+This apartment is fantastic. Clearly newly renovated. We had everything we needed and it was beautiful. The bed was as perfect. I slept better than at home. Great shower as well.

“Awesome stay in Diocletians Palace”
+the place was stylishly appointed, wonderfully equipped and very comfortable. It was really spacious.. Plus lovely and clean. The support from host Mirela was wonderful and location just fabulous. We had a fab view out one window.
−The mattress in the second bedroom was quite hard and would benefit greatly from a simple topper. The hot water can be easily turned off (even though we were told to be careful we still managed to do it!) Suggest it's taped on so daft people like us don't turn it off.
