“Excellent 🌴🍌”
+We stayed in this apartment as a family of three adults and our stay was very comfortable as the apartment had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, with good-quality appliances and there was also air conditioning. The view from the upper terrace is absolutely stunning and the terrace itself is very well equipped, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. 🌴🍌🌊🌅 Before our arrival we received clear check-in instructions, and the check-in process was flexible and convenient. Our host Jorge is very friendly and thoughtful, and it was easy to stay in touch with him throughout our stay. This place gave us so many positive memories, and we would absolutely love to come back again! ☀️🤗
−This is not a disadvantage, but it’s good to keep in mind that the apartment is located on a hill and the road leading to it has a steep incline. The apartment has two parking spaces, referred to as option A and option B in the instructions. Option A is accessed via a very steep and narrow road and the spaces are usually occupied. Option B is much easier to access, and there is always a space available to park the car.

“A relaxing and rejuvenating spot with phenomenal views”
+It’s in a great location with absolutely breathtaking views from inside and on the rooftop terrace. Jorge was a welcoming and knowledgeable host. He made us feel like family, and we loved eating the fresh passion fruit, grapes and bananas he grows on his property.
−The parking is difficult, which is typical for the mountains. The more convenient lot was always full so it required some coordination to drop of luggage and groceries at the top, and then park on the lower street and walk up the steep hill. Jorge does provide walkway lighting on his property and there are street lights, which was helpful for those treks up at night.

“La casita muy bien, el descanso no tan bien”
+Jorge manuel es encantador y muy servicial. Nos repuso las capsulas de cafe y nos consiguio una cuna de viaje para el bebe ya que no la habiamos solicitado en el momento de la reserva. La terraza es de lo mejor. Lavanderia y batidora, el apartamento rstaba muy completo.
−No hay mosquiteras por lo que si no quieres que te piquen los mosquitos hay que dormir con el aire acondicionado que no es nada recomendable... el colchon es incomodisimo, no dormimos muy bien por este motivo

“Very nice and to be recommended.”
+We enjoyed a perfect ocean- view every morning and in the evenings the rooftop terrasse is the best you can use to see the sun going down. The flat is nice and very clean.
−We had do store our cloth inside the suitcases during the week as there are no cabinets to store them. ..........................................................

−Il contesto dell'immobile,si trova in mezzo a immobili cadenti e foresta di banane con passaggio a piedi scomodo...il parcheggio a 50 MT perennemente occupato dai locali...gli arredi molto economici e il bagno scomodissimo...usavamo il lavello cucina...meglio...

“Wir haben uns in diesem Anwesen sehr wohlgefühlt.”
+Das Appartement ist außergewöhnlich schön gelegen. Die Aussicht, insbesondere von der Dachterrasse aus ist umwerfend. Die Ausstattung der Räume war sehr modern und umfassend. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wer Ruhe braucht und phantastische Sonnenunteruntergänge schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Jorge ist ein sehr netter Vermieter, der uns die Wohnung in allen Einzelheiten gezeigt hat. Wir hatten Probleme, die Villa zu finden, weil sie in zweiter Reihe etwas versteckt in Bananenstauden am Hang liegt. Vom Parkplatz aus muss ein Stück des Weges zu Fuß auf einem Weg durch dichte Vegetation zurückgelegt werden. Aber diese tropische Lage macht auch den Reiz des Hauses aus und war für uns kein großes Hindernis. Zum Gepäck ausladen kann man eine kleinen Parkplatz am Grundstückseingang benutzen. In der Folgezeit ist dieser Parkplatz nicht immer frei. Wir haben unseren Mietwagen während unseres Aufenthalts ca. 200 - 300 m entfernt am Straßenrand geparkt. Das war kein Problem. Zum Strand in Calheta geht es am bequemsten und schnell mit dem Auto. Zu Fuß ist man bergab ca. 20 Minuten und zurück bergauf ca. 40 Minuten unterwegs.

“Genoten van het appartement en de prachtige omgeving”
+Het dakterras biedt een prachtig uitzicht op zee. Zonder auto is het strand lastig te bereiken, maar als je met de auto de kustlijn naar het noorden volgt, kom je langs schitterende uitzichtpunten. De kabelbaan bij Achadas da Cruz is een aanrader als je geen hoogtevrees hebt. Ga bij voorkeur rond 9.30-10.00 uur; later kunnen de wachttijden lang zijn, zowel boven als beneden. Jorge is erg vriendelijk en reageert snel op WhatsApp bij vragen.
−Het adres komt twee keer voor in Calheta, wat voor verwarring kan zorgen. Volg daarom de Google Maps-locatie die Jorge doorstuurt. De dichtstbijzijnde parkeerplaats was tijdens ons verblijf steeds bezet. Er is ook een parkeerplek aan de weg, maar vanaf daar moet je een steile weg oplopen. Het is daarom handiger om eerst je spullen uit te laden en daarna je auto te parkeren.
