“The view and location of the property was great; the inconvenience of the property was awful.”
+The location provided a beautiful view of the lake. It was quiet and peaceful.
−The arrangement of the location was "an accident waiting to happen." The living room was sunken down by two steps. The carpeting was all the same color, not providing protection or attention to the upcoming steps. I fell over the bottom one the first hour I was there. (The carpeting was also dirty; I noticed as I was lying on it!). It was obvious to us that the owner of this unit is doing nothing to maintain or improve the property, but is just collecting the expensive rental fee. When speaking to someone before the rental was completed, we had told the person our 80 year old age range. Perhaps someone could have suggested a different property for us. The paperwork sent before the booking was about 30 pages of rules for your protection, but little for ours. The list of amenities did not include air-conditioning, but we haven't thought of air conditioning being an "amenity" for many years. In the 21st century air conditioning is considered a "given" just as a toilet or shower is.

+They sent everything by e-mail, key code, gate code. No staff interaction at all. So make sure you read your emails. This was our first time staying here and we loved it, lots of room, beautiful view of the lake and slopes. Everything nice and clean, weel equipped kitchen. The pool is really close, you can just walk to it.
