−Not ideal for larger groups. With only one bathroom on the floor for six people (including two couples), it felt uncomfortable sharing one bathroom with 6.Also they have put bed alongside jacuzzi which we felt was weird. The AC was also not working properly when we arrived and took a full day for management to fix.

“Lovely oasis”
+The property was a lovely little hide away 10 mins drive from Agonda beach. The wildlife around the villa was a pleasure to see. Staff were very helpful organising shuttles to the beach and day trips Food was excellent and all cooked fresh to order Watching sunset from the jacuzzi was gorgeous
−Electricity trips a lot! ( short periods only though) No sunny area to sunbathe, I believe they are due to extend the site, this would make a really good addition and give residents a chance to interact a bit

“It was peaceful and breakfast was good - the only drawback is that there’s no connectivity without wifi which can be off”
+The privacy
−The lack of facilities to protect against mosquitoes. The HIT given for the room didn’t work and so I had to endure bugs during the evening which was not ideal with a young child. The pool was freezing cold and so we barely got use out of it. As the placement of the pool is in the shade - the water doesn’t warm up in the sun. When asked, the staff said it’s “medium temperature” which was not the case as after 2-3 minutes my daughter’s lips were blue and she was shivering.

+A tranquil oasis in the hills but just a very short drive from Agonda Beach, the nicest beach in South Goa

“Exceptional”
+Beautiful property. Well maintained. If you are with elderly family, just have to remember that there are quite a few stairs to to get to your room. In house breakfast was amazing as well.

“best hotel in Goa”
+We stayed at Simroseate Hotel in Goa for nine nights over Boxing Day through New Year’s, and it was absolutely perfect. We didn't want to leave! I have been to Goa many times and this by far my favourite hotel. Our room was so amazing - huge and super comfortable, with a Jacuzzi!! And having our own private pool and outdoor shower was such an enormous and luxurious treat! The location was spot on, away from the busy beach front hotels and a great jumping off point to all the amazing beaches the area has to offer. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful, they really made our stay - we loved every minute and will definitely be back!
−nothing - we loved it

“A hidden gem that should be in the Mr and Mrs Smith website - luxurious, boutique haven of tranquility”
+Secluded with amazing views yet only 5 minutes from Agonda and surrounding beaches. Private and intimate and the decor of the hotel and villas are simply gorgeous! Think intricately designed wooden panelling, refurbished chic antique cupboards and heavy old carved front doors. The views over look the jungle and forest for miles in every direction and the sunset views from the rooms are to die for. The bedrooms are huge! The beds the most comfortable we have slept in (far better than the Taj Palace and most hotels in Europe) The service was also wonderful! This hotel has thought of every detail and has the right staff to execute a superior level of service and high quality experience.
−Nothing at all
