“Overall, we appreciated the host’s communication and flexibility, but the condition of the apartment did not meet reason”
+The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. Check-in was simple, and the instructions for accessing the apartment were clear. We also appreciated that the host allowed us to check out later than the standard time.
−Unfortunately, the apartment itself was very disappointing. The photos do not reflect reality: in the pictures, everything looks bright, fresh, and clean, whereas the actual condition is very different. As previous guests have mentioned, the apartment is in need of renovation. It is quite worn out and dirty, with dust, cobwebs in many places, stained curtains, and a dirty table. At the very least, it needs a thorough professional cleaning. The pillows were another major issue. They had a very unpleasant, musty smell of old fabric, making them impossible to use comfortably. We had to cover them with our own clean clothes just to make sleeping a little more bearable. The most serious problem, however, was the mould. There was visible mould in almost every corner of the apartment. As someone with asthma and allergies, this was particularly concerning and made staying there extremely uncomfortable. I struggled to breathe during the night, which significantly affected our stay.

“Not great”
+Great location. Clear instructions from the host on how to access the apartment and get the keys. Convenient that it is self check in and check out.
−Multiple cracks in the shower that have just been taped over. Squeaky bed, the whole apartment is much darker than shown in the images. The doorbell that conncets to the intercom on the street plays a really creepy Christmas tune. The curtains are not blackout so it is quite bright and difficult to sleep if there are lights outside.

+Location was good. 15-20 minute walk to most things Check in/out was super easy
−Outdated. Shower didn’t angle forward making showering difficult. Beds are squeaky but generally fairly comfortable Iron stained clothes when we tried to use it, left a black mark Bathroom sliding door broken TV doesn’t work

−Die Wohnung muss dringend grundgereinigt und ausgebessert werden. Der Gesamtzustand des Hauses ist grenzwertig. Ausstattung der küchenutensilien aufstocken.
