“Hard work”
+I appreciated that with all the problems associated with our stay, the owners or those answering the phone, did so very promptly.
−This place was overall very disappointing. 1. No working oven. 2. nothing to light gas hob with. 3. no sharp knives. 4. mattress old and springs protruding. 5. no hair dryer or toaster (very basic requirements for an Airbnb) 6. toilet seat wobbly 7. bathroom extractor fan not working. 8. the whole place needed a deep clean. It was impossible to prepare the simplest of food for myself and my children in the kitchen during our stay. The owners thought the kitchen knives had been stolen, yet, there are complaints back as far as Feb 2026 about there being none. It's just not good enough.

“Good accommodation for a family weekend”
+Good communication with the owner, good location, good size rooms, hot water and heating working - good accommodation to spend the weekend or a few days.
−The kitchen needs a big update and cleaning. Some of the pots have mold on them, strong smell of mold inside the cupboards and the kitchen hood needs a deep clean. Maybe a new scissor and some kitchen knives will help if somebody wants to cook, like I do 😊

“Decent flat in a nice part of Leeds”
+Nice quiet area, host communication was very good, plenty of space, good value for money, well furnished and equipped, clean. Appreciated the Free parking and the Sofa Bed in the Living Room
−Creeky Floor Boards, poor sound insulation, we could hear everything said and all movement of the residents in the flat above. The bed mattresses could be more comfortable

“Great choice for a comfy stay near Leeds and York”
+Central location for Leeds and a short drive to York... exactly what we were looking for. CLEAN and comfortable with ample comfortable seating in the lounge. GREAT COMMUNICATION from the host. Two double bedrooms. Plenty of additional items such as toilet rolls, washing up liquid and toiletries. Plenty of towels and bedding.
−Very minor... no carving or kitchen knife. The front bedroom would benefit from a table lamp. A mirror near a plug socket for hair styling woukd be nice. As I say. Very small suggestions and the absence of these really didn't impact on the enjoyment of our stay.

+It was very good! Convenient quiet location, close to Leeds, fully furnished flat with well equipped kitchen. It was precious to get all the information about my future accommodation from the host in advance. I felt fully like at home!

“Cheap stay but not clean”
+Flexibility of being able to drop our bags early and locations for what we needed
−Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the property was disappointing and did not meet our expectations. There was noticeable dust and cobwebs throughout the accommodation, suggesting that some areas had not been cleaned thoroughly for some time. We also found stained bedding, including what appeared to be blood stains on some sheets, a mouldy pillow, and stains on a duvet. The bathroom could also benefit from more attention, as the shower curtains were mouldy, and the toliet seat was loose. In addition, there were marks and splatters on the walls, grime on light switches, and the sofas, chair, and rug all appeared to need a deep clean. We also encountered an issue with the sofa bed, as no sheets were provided for it. As a result, we had to use a spare duvet cover and towels instead. While we appreciated the early bag drop-off, the overall condition and cleanliness of the property significantly impacted our stay. We hope these issues are addressed for future guests.
