+The property had an incredible view, it was very homely and incredibly comfortable. We also were fortunate to have the ground floor apartment with a terrace. The apartment had everything that you could possibly need, including towels, coffee and a bottle of wine. Our dog also thoroughly enjoyed it and was spoilt by Sonia the host.

+This place has an amazing view and a great small terrace. Great for 2 people, for 4 it was too small. It is quite far away from the town so you need to be ready for a walk uphill. Also driving uphill by car is for experienced drivers, but it was the acceptable price for that view. Very kind staff.

“This is a magical place, paradise must look exactly like this!”
+Amazing apartment! We stayed for two days, but would like to come back for at least two weeks or for life! If I turn off my emotions, then I will mention everyday details: very clean, cozy, quiet… a million dollar view! If you are not a fan of trekking, then you just need a car and in 5 minutes you are in the city center (we walked with the children and this is a special pleasure); by ferry you can be in any other town on the lake in an hour or less.

−The final 500m is very very steep. Although possible to drive by car to the very top we decided not to and walk the last bit as we were afraid the underside of our Fiat Panda might not be high enough for clearance of the road 😂 This was a small inconvenience and it does state it on the booking, just to note visitors that you need good fitness for this and there are maybe 10-20 steps to the door of the accommodation

−Small serpentine road leading to the house must not be unstated or under estimated. And this from someone with massive experience driving in the mountains of Switzerland and Austria.

“Schöne Höhenlage mit weiter Sicht gleicht Entfernung, Anfahrt und Lautstärke nicht aus”
+Die Unterkunft hat eine klasse Aussicht und liegt recht hoch am Comer See. Die Ausstattung entspricht den Bildern, es ist sehr sauber und gemütlich. Terrasse/Anlage gepflegt.
−Man muss sich bewusst sein (so wie es auch bekannt ist und in anderen Rezessionen steht), dass es tatsächlich durch die Höhenlage sehr weit weg vom Zentrum/Geschehen ist & durch die Höhe man den Weg auch nicht einfach mal kurz läuft um in die Stadt zu gehen oder etwas zu holen. Die Anfahrt ist eine kleine enge Privatstraße, die man nicht gerne wieder runter & hochfährt, wenn man einmal oben ist (sehr eng, bei Gegenverkehr kann es anstregend werden, da nur eine Spur). Mein Mercedes Kombi c220 ist jedoch „problemlos“ hochgekommen, also es scheitern nicht an der Straße selbst, das befahren ist für einen geübten Fahrer gut möglich, dennoch anstregend. Das größtes Manko für uns ist die Hellhöhrigkeit der Wohnung. Die darüberliegende Ferienwohnung hat gefühlt keine Dämmung nach unten und man hört wirklich alles. Je nachdem, was für Leute oben sind, kann dies für einen Urlaub, bei dem man recht viel Zeit in der Unterkunft vebringt oder auch schlafen möchte, sehr anstrengend sein. Darauf sollte man sich definitiv einstellen. Die Punkte überwiegen & wir würden die Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen.
