+We had a wonderful stay in Maleny! The place was beautiful, peaceful and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Jen and Ian were absolutely lovely hosts, so welcoming, friendly and thoughtful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. You can really tell they care about making their guests feel comfortable and welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Maleny. We’d happily stay again! 😊

“A home away from home”
+Felt like a home away from home. Would honestly love to stay for longer durations, stay by the fire with my partner and I, watching movies. Owner was beautiful to talk with.
−As I said, staying longer durations would be amazing. However, I would only be deterred from doing that due to its nightly cost. Its not unreasonable, but it is just a little steep because there is only a handful of things to do around the property. But thats why it feels more like a home away from home.

“Absolute serenity”
+We loved how peaceful, clean and different the property was. There really isn’t a more unique and serene place to stay. The place is so nice that I decided it’s the perfect place to propose to my now Fiancé.
−I honestly am not sure. Maybe a little more kindling for the fire place for night 2.

“Beautiful property with welcoming hosts.”
+The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed and that we were comfortable. The property itself is magical and for a city dweller (which I am) it was so nice to be amongst nature - with beautiful tree/rainforest views and the natural sounds of the nearby creek.

+This property is the ultimate rainforest retreat, peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind. It was exactly the recharge I needed. From the moment we arrived, Jen, Ian and Lexie made us feel so welcome. They went above and beyond, with thoughtful treats and gifts for my little one, along with fresh limes and avocados waiting for us. Their kindness and hospitality made our stay feel incredibly special. Our entire experience at Runaway was nothing short of amazing. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to our next visit. I can't wait to come back!

“Can’t wait return!”
+The property is a rainforest paradise in which you feel completely immersed. If you can pull yourself away from the home it’s located conveniently to enjoy Maleny, Montville, and all the hinterland has to offer. Jen, Ian & Lex felt like old friends rather than hosts- they were beyond generous with their time and care.
