+Great location, great price, very comfortable bed.
−The only negatives are not the best cooking facilities, the flat is very dated furniture wise, wouldn't cost much to bring it up to date, a bit of a damp/musty smell in the entrance hall probably due to the flat being below ground level.

+Fully equipped and it located within the town centre . A petfect home from home for walkers even a great place for retreats: footpaths just minutes away. . Really loved it . I'll be back as soon as I can .
−Private car park is Small , it's difficult to turn round and it's difficult to reverse out to a one way main road .

“Excellent value with location being a plus”
+Clean throughout the property and no issues, small space but ideal for what I was looking for. I did not avail myself of the cooking facilities as I ate out at the varied restaurants close by. However it had fridge, cooker and microwave all in good condition should one wish to cook meals. After long days of walking I can vouch that the bed was extremely comfortable. Heating came on at a turn of the radiator dial and soon warmed the room up.
−Shower was good but the head kept coming loose and had to be hand held at times. Bathroom a bit small perhaps for a larger person but adequate.

+Good location and the cheapest accommodation with off street parking in Ambleside. Like staying at your grandads house.
−It is not a full kitchen - just a microwave, toaster and portable stove. There was no toilet roll and the bathroom floor has a lot of hair from other people. When I was out, someone came in the flat and moved the bed across the room- about a meter away from the back wall, put all the duvet and pillows in the middle of the bed & opened the window. If someone was to come into the property I would have thought it was to clean but nothing was cleaned and I came back from my day out as if someone had rummaged through all my things. Very disturbing as a solo female traveller and I did not sleep a wink the second night thinking the person that did that, had a key to my room.
