10.0“Absolutely perfect, dog friendly, cosy cottage”
+Really cosy, clean and comfortable cottage. Can’t fault a thing! Super dog friendly too, with a large back garden and lots of throws for them to lounge on. We loved the board games provided (especially during the storm that hit on our second night), and the location was perfect for dog walks by the river, and a warm dog friendly pub and a shop.
−Everything was perfect!

10.0“Cosy wee cottage”
+This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and just as good as the first. Cosy, comfortable and great to use as a base for exploring the surrounding areas. Close to beaches, towns and the local hotel is literally a 1 minute walk for the house for dinner. Will definitely be back for a 4th time.

8.0+The owner obviously tries v hard to make the property feel comfortable and homely. Tge location was good as we have dogs and the walk along the river in the village was lovely
−It was all fine. A convenient stop to catch the early morning ferry

6.0“Fantastic location, cottage requires refreshed.”
+- Location was fantastic for exploring Caithness. Lovely river walk across the bridge 5 minutes away from the cottage. Ulster arms worth a visit for a good meal - 2 minutes walk away. - Good size of cottage for our family of 3. - Nice garden with picnic bench outside. - Parking right outside. - Beds very comfy and great to have 2 large beds, rather than the usual sofa beds. - Communication with owners was great.
−- Cottage is quite run down which is not visible in the photos advertised. - Clean on most surfaces but in need of a deep clean, carpets etc not clean and we had to hoover multiple spider webs/dust etc on arrival. Dog smell in living room and main bedroom. - Oven and microwave very old and challenging to cook with. All pans minus very small pan and frying pan not usable as the coating was scratched.

10.0“Very enjoyable and so glad we came.”
+Ideal location and the cottage was so lovely and welcoming. Extra touches like the cake left for us was lovely and unexpected. My little chihuahua Breagha loved it too and she was very well behaved. We will be back and highly recommend the cottage.
−There was nothing we didn’t like. Maybe the only thing was the chair in large bedroom one of the back legs was not steady but to be honest this was not an issue.
