+We stayed for 3 nights in total prior to our wedding at the registry office 100 metres from the cottage. It was an absolutely perfect location and a short walk into town. The owners were fantastic. They left a bottle of bubbly in the fridge and were even witnesses at our wedding! The riverside location was lovely and romantic. Overall, we had a perfect stay and we can't thank the owners enough.

“Clean. Great location. Parking on site. Nice private area.”
+We liked the location. There was a parking spot for us and the cottage was easy to find. Walking distance from the Cathedral and the towns centre. It was very clean and we were able to make our own dinner in the kitchen. The host was really nice and we felt very welcome.

−Nothing really, but only a double bed up against the wall , had read previous reviews so this was not unexpected and we slept fine for our one night stay.

“Overnight stay in Canterbury”
+Location was ideal. Secluded yet close enough to walk into the city in less than 10 minutes. Host provided lots of extras such as milk, coffee and teas bags where were very welcome after traveling from Stoke on Trent via London.
−The fact I am clumsy and kept forgetting the step down into the kitchen!

“Lovely couple of days away, hope to return soonish.”
+The location was brilliant, property itself was very nice. Was lovely to have milk and bottled water in the fridge along with tea and coffee provided so that we could make ourselves a drink upon arrival.
−Sofa bed could've done with another blanket or cover of some sort on it for comfort, but as it was a hot evening it wasn't too much of a problem.

“Excellent location, excellent amenities, well styled, had everything we needed and really good space”
+Excellent location, excellent amenities, well styled, had everything we needed and really good space to yourself, we loved sitting having a drink in the private outdoor area and watching the water flow past, I even saw fish cruising by, how relaxing!
−The bed is a little small which was necessary to fit the room but was Ok for us for 2 nights.

+Fantastic little cottage by the Stour, back garden right next to the river. Great surroundings. Host very accommodating and helpful - allowed us to store our luggage as well as using her fridge after checkout. The host also gave us great local recommendations. 10 out 10!
−Everything is great. If any suggestion for perfection: it was quite warm at night, maybe could do with one additional fan; and the bed was a little uneven.
