+Nice big house with plenty of space for the 5 of us. Well equipped kitchen, good beds, two great showers (3rd is a bathtub with a glass panel). The animals showed up regularly giving it a bit of a safari vibe.
−Floors were quite dusty. Otherwise very clean.

+The house was beautiful, the location was spectacular up on the ridge with beautiful views. The best was waking up to zebras. Springboks coming to graze close by.
−The upstairs bedroom does not have a door, so there is no privacy. Ideal for children when don't need a door.

+Perfect setting to relax, amazing views, really well planned space for a group of people. Easiest wood order ever for the braai and potjie.
−Not that it was a deal breaker, but maybe invest in a potjie 🙂

“Made us want to visit again!”
+What an exceptional stay! The house is so well equipped and every comfort has been taken into account. Awesome tranquil setting where one can simply unwind, but yet close enough for activities in town. Watching wildlife from the stoep, is such a bonus. Great communication from the host. We will definitely stay at Riverbank again. Thank you!

“Beautiful and serene family time in the Witzenberg game reserve.”
+The property is beautifully situated and an absolute delight for kids with the zebras and springbok roaming around. The house itself is ideal for family spending time together. The home itself is beautiful and well stocked.
−The flies were an issue - but the host provided doom spray, which we routinely sprayed around to keep them away. It would be helpful if there were more fly-fighting mechanisms!

“Lovely rural stay with lots of animals.”
+The best thing was the zebras and antelopes that arrived in the mornings to graze in front of the house. The children were really thrilled by these. There had been a bush fire recently and some of the vegetation round the house was quite charred but it didn't affect the enjoyment of our stay -or the grazing of the animals. There is a lovely communal swimming pool not far from the house. The house is comfortable with everything you could want.

“Peace and quiet”
+Peaceful and quiet, lots of room, well equipped, great with lots of outdoor rosming fir thr kids
−Just a cautionary note: last stretch should be driven very slowly, especially the brick road, take this into consideration when planning your timelines, you won’t regret it though, well worth the slow-go.
