“Cozy and quiet apartment in beautiful Zamalek”
+The apartment is very cozy, tastefully decorated and very well located. It’s quite spacious and has everything you need. It’s also quiet enough to sleep without earplugs, you do hear some noise from traffic but it wasn’t an issue for me (I’m a very light sleeper). The bed is very comfortable, water pressure couldn’t be beat and the hot water comes out immediately! The full size kitchen is great to make some meals at home and there is a washing machine so you can do laundry. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and has a lot of history! There are plenty of coffee shops serving great coffee as well as boutique shops, and restaurants. I really enjoyed walking around the beautiful tree-lined streets. As a single female traveler, I felt safe and relaxed the whole time. I would absolutely come back to stay at this apartment
−There were a few items missing in the kitchen that would have been helpful, which I believe have been stocked.

“Wonderful stay. Convenient location. Value for money”
+Excellent stay. The owners were very responsive and supportive and even provided me with a late check out as flight was not until 8pm. The electronic key code was given well in advance for a smooth check in. The place has everything you need starting from TV, Cooker, Washing machine, Fridge etc.

+The stay at Retro Nutshell was beyond my expectations, mainly due to the kidness and responsiveness of the hosts. For any queries, concerns or general comments, they were always readily available and happy to help - responding within minutes and with great care and concern. It is obvious that this care is reflected in the apartment as the space was beautifully curated with a retro feel, incredibly spotless, and well-equipped with everything needed for a short-term stay. It felt like a safe home away from home, which was especially important for someone that was travelling solo. If im ever in Cairo again, I will definietly be looking into staying at one of their other homes!

−The old lifts seemed a little precarious but we just used the stairs. Easy! It’s an old apartment building, but don’t be put off. The apartment is perfect inside.

“Das Hotel ist für das was es bietet viel zu teuer da gibt es besser für den halben Preis diese sind ohne Essen aber für”
+Die Lage ist gut direkt am Strand und Stadt Nähe
−Das Essen war vom Frühstück angefangen einfach nur schlecht hat überhaupt nicht mit dem zutun was auf den Bildern gezeigt wird . Dann wird mit all inclusive geworben die Getränke wie Kaffee Wasser in großen Flaschen müssen extra bezahlt werden . Das Zimmer laut da sich dort zurzeit Bauarbeiten stattfinden Dusche undicht so das das Zimmer nach dem duschen Unterwasser steht.

+Appartement conforme aux photos, décoration faite avec soin, c’est tout propre. C’est très bien placé, et surtout safe (on était 3 filles, et à côté y avait 2 résidences d’ambassadeur).
−Le canapé lit n’est pas très confortable (un peu cassé quand c’est ouvert), il vaut mieux dormir dessus sans l’ouvrir et comme ça il est assez confortable.

+La casa è accogliente, pulita, arredata con gusto e dotata di tutti i comfort. C’è anche una portineria dove eventualmente lasciare i propri bagagli per qualche ora. La comunicazione con gli host è stata sempre precisa e veloce e ci hanno fatto trovare due bottiglie d’acqua fresca in frigo, molto apprezzate. La posizione della casa è in una delle zone più belle e curate del Cairo, circondata da ambasciate e vicina al Nilo per fare un giro in barca al tramonto Assolutamente da raccomandare :)
−Purtroppo l’appartamento è un po’ buio in generale perché c’è una sola finestra, ma è l’unica nota che mi viene in mente
