“The owners were very pleasant and welcoming but I certainly wouldn’t rate the property as a five star”
+The position in the country was nice
−I was surprised when we were shown to the stables, I hadn’t noticed anywhere when we did the booking that we wouldn’t be in the house itself , I didn’t like the communal table at breakfast either it was a bit like school dinners , our room wasn’t cleaned one day even though we hung out our please service room card, there were a lot of cobwebs in the corners and on the top of lamps. There was an armchair in the bathroom but none in the bedroom so we moved it into the bedroom as there was only a hard upright chair in the bedroom itself.

“A peaceful, cozy and charming historic stay with warm hospitality.”
+We had an amazing stay at Rectory Manor Hotel. The interior was so cozy, warm and beautifully designed and the owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Frank shared so many fascinating stories and information about the hotel and the area and we would like to thank him once again for his warm hospitality and lovely conversation. Our room was on the upper attic floor and it had everything we needed. The attention given to even the smallest details was impressive and made our stay truly special. It was a wonderful night for me and my wife and we would happily come back again. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming stay.
