“Good location for scafell pike. Potty we had no power for 2 days”
+The cottage was lovely. All clean. The people were friendly and helpful. Good location for scafell pike.
−Had no power for nearly two days. Not the owners fault. It was due to a storm. The owners gave us a camping stove and lights.

“Amazing cottage”
+This cottage is in a great location for walking Wainwrights. It has everything you need in the kitchen. It is lovely and warm. The beds are comfortable. It has amazing views of the fells. We loved watching the geese, ducks and turkey's waddling around the farm. They often came up to the patio door. There are nice touches such as hot chocolate and mini marshmallows, eggs and milk.

“Great location, lovely place to stay”
+The location is on a working farm, so expect farm noises, we picked it as we were away with two 5 year old grandchildren and it worked really well, plenty of animals to see. The property is well presented and has everything you need, there was milk and fresh farm eggs left available to us on arrival, along with a large selection of Tea, Coffee and hot chocolate sachets.
−There was nothing we didn't like with the property, however, possibly a bit more thought needs to be applied to the outside area at the front of the cottage to make it more user friendly.

“Wonderful stay thank you julie and richard”
+Was in a very peaceful area.it was wonderful watching the ducks do their walks of honour every day, waddling in a queue. The hosts wore me out seeing them none stop working all day long. Moving the cows, moving the sheep with the help of the dogs. It really was lovely. The little extras left in the cottage, milk, eggs, mints, different teas, coffee and chocolate along with biscuits. Thank you.

“Idyllic stay in a great location”
+Wow wow wow what an amazing stay!! Such amazing views and what a privilege to stay on a proper farm; seeing the ducks so close to our front door was truly a highlight. Such a great location for our scafell pike climb and Claire was absolutely amazing what an inspiration! Can’t wait to come back soon!!

+The property is on a working farm which has a bunch of ducks which honestly made our stay. We would come back from a day out to an army of them outside the front door and it was a highlight!

“Idyllic countryside stay!”
+Such an idyllic setting with the chickens and ducks roaming around, my son loved it! The owners left us fresh eggs and milk which was lovely and the house is well stocked with a variety of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and even individual jams! The house is surprisingly big and spacious and nicely decorated to fit the setting. The location is fantastic, close to both the seaside and lakes.
−The only thing we'd have liked is a fence around the front garden area so we could've let our dog out to pee rather than having to put his lead on for fear of him chasing the chickens and ducks. But that's a minor thing.
