−Online check-in - the link on Booking.com was not working. Managed via WhatsApp. BUT - the instructions on how to enter the property would not load. This caused a little worry that we would turn up with no ability to gain entry. BUT, the link to the instructions worked ok at 3pm (the time of entry). In future - it would help if the details would load earlier or that it was made clear that they would work at 3pm.

“Beware: mandatory cleaning fee”
+The apartment itself is exceptional, the location ad views are stunning.
−We were charged a €41.30 cleaning fee before we could confirm check in. We booked non refundable, so were basically faced with losing the booking or paying an additional unexpected fee that we had not budgeted for. Given we were only staying one night, €41.30 felt very expensive. Additionally, the amenities in the apartment were a bit disapointing - only decaf coffee, no conditioner in the shower, only a two in one shampoo that left my hair very dry (i'd usually carry hair products when I travel but assummed at this pricw it would have been provided).

+Amazing location just in the centre of como with amazing views all around the apartment. Clean, and safe.

−I have seen a few reviews from last year regarding the same problems and they don’t seam to have been fixed. The aircon is really bad. Does not get close to keeping the rooms cool at all especially at night it is really hard to sleep and I definite had sleepless nights during my stay. One set of keys was a bit of a pain but manageable an extra set especially for a larger group is needed. Over all a lovely apartment and location couldn’t be better but the conforms of things like aircon and water pressure shouldn’t be a problem for the price that is charged.

+Location is perfect as well as the awesome views from the windows to the gothic church and lake Como. Huge place and bathtub was so nice. Overall a great experience ( except the mandatory elevator rides)
−The only way up/down was the tiny claustrofobic elevator, that hopefully don't get ever stack, no stairs, not my favourite ecperience at all. You also need a key to go out from the main door outside daytime. The top floor is hot during summertime, although there is air conditioning. Kitchen was a bit poorly equipped, but otherwise ok.
