+Quinta do Areal is the kind of place you don't want to tell anyone about, because you want to keep it for yourself. Our apartment was spacious and spotless, with a comfy bed, a fully equipped kitchen. The pools were the highlight: the saltwater pool, the indoor pool with sauna, and the beautiful natural pool. The massage was the perfect way to unwind. João was very welcoming and great with my toddler, he clearly love the quinta. We left rested, recharged and already planning our return. Highly recommended!

“Perfect, quiet retreat.”
+Beautiful property, the outdoor pool is a dream. Our chalet was clean & spacious with everything we needed. The hosts were lovely & helpful. Nice walks to see the animals.
−The only thing we could say would be the dogs barked a lot in the evening which was just behind our room. Sauna out of use which could have been nice as pools quite cold.

+The staff left some amazing goodies for us in the apartment. All delicious stuff. The property grounds are amazing. Loved the animals and feeding the donkeys.
−The only thing that I could say is that for a longer stay, probably I would miss a couch to lounge around.

+É um local com enorme potencial e que está a ser renovado. Muito espaço de natureza, produtos caseiros e horta com frutos e legumes incríveis. Simpatia do staff, sobretudo do João, que faz de tudo na propriedade. Os cavalos, as galinhas e os cães são óptimos para quem vai com crianças. As três piscinas, umas melhores do que outras, são muito úteis e bem pensadas. As casas são espaçosas e têm muito espaço exterior, confortáveis e há muita disponibilidade do pessoal.
−Ainda está em construção. A piscina principal podia ser refinada para crianças mais pequenas. Relação qualidade-preço é interessante, mas podia ser melhor.

“Un havre de paix”
+La qualité du site et l'excellent accueil que nous avons eu par nos hôtes. Les cadeaux de bienvenue étaient particulièrement bien choisis et généreux. Nous avons très appréciés .Le cadre est splendide ,le choix des piscines est sans équivalent. Le calme du site et son ambiance très champêtre est très agréable.
−Un peu loin de Coimbra .....la communication car nos hôtes ne parlaient pas anglais .

“Schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Umgebung”
+Wir wurden sehr freundlich willkommen geheissen. Im grosszügigen, sauberen und gut ausgestatteten Appartement gab es u.a. selbst gebackenes Brot, Butter, Eier und eine Flasche Wein. Frische Blumen standen auf dem Küchentisch. Neben dem Indoor-Pool und einer Sauna (welche wir nicht benutzt haben) gibt es einen sehr schönen Natur-Badeteich im Garten.
−Die Quinta do Areal liegt etwas abgelegen und ist ohne Auto nicht zu erreichen. In der Quinta do Areal gibt es keine Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten. Im Dorf Lousã, das mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten zu erreichen ist, gibt es jedoch mehrere Restaurants.

+L emplacement au calme , le personel très sympathique , la propreté de l installation , les animaux et la sensation de repos que l endroit procure.
−Le lit pourrait etre un tout petit peu plus large.
