+A charming cozy and peaceful cottage with views over the lighthouse and the sea. We loved the welcome basket, the shower was amazing and the cottage was very clean. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Although you could eat out at the nearby Seaview Hotel which was excellent.

+Great location with the lighthouse as a neighbour. Boddam is very well placed to explore the region. Trudy is a star, very responsive, very friendly and helpful, thank you Trudy!!! The cottage was spotlessly clean and has everything you need in a self catering cottage. Beds are very comfy and the cottage is well heated. Great shower what is not always the case in Scotland… Great meals in the nearby Seaview Hotel just up the road.
−Not a problem for us, as our car is a wee Fiat500: Yes, you can park in front of the cottage, but the neighbours are unfortunately not that kind and don’t really care. There are too many cars and this morning we were only able to leave as wee have this little car,otherwise we would have been stuck…

+The location was beautiful even in December! I really appreciated the easy check in and check out process as my daughter had to have emergency surgery during my stay and I had to leave a bit earlier than planned. And thank you for the lovely welcome pack - that was a nice touch!
−Some coat hooks on the wall in the hall would have been handy - and manuals for the appliances or a page explaining the symbols or the basics of how they work would have been useful.
