“A great place to stay with family and have fun.”
+The house was very pretty and felt like home the moment we stepped in. The pool is lovely and big and just a joy to be in.

“A charming older property with loads to do. The pool and hot tub is a major plus point”
+It is a beautiful old barn converted into a lovely house with a lovely feeling about it. It’s a property that you’re not afraid to let the children run free and enjoy themselves. We stayed from Monday - Friday and from what I payed for the week I believe it was great value for the money.
−Unfortunately a few sockets and lights didn’t work , also the Hive heating remote was smashed. Now the owner is aware of this and this will be replaced soon.

“Fun and relaxing for a weekend”
+The facilities were amazing. Lovely place, great kitchen and lounge. Pool was amazing and I can imagine this is fabulous in the summer. Hot tub was a nice extra even if is a little old. Beautiful garden and surrounding areas.
−Single beds are more suitable for children as not very wide. Standard singles would be better for adults so that was disappointing. Sofa bed is a bit old too and because of this uncomfortable.

“False advertisement and incredibly poor attitude from host.”
+Beautiful house and when it is properly running, would likely make a very enjoyable place to be. We made the most of it between us despite all the issues, though I would never ever come back despite loving the actual property itself. The neighbours were really nice too and helped us with the gates and the bins.
−-The pool was cold. It was advertised (and as of writing this review is still) as heated. It is also advertised as 'year-round'. When we asked how to heat it up, we were informed that it is 'an ambient temperature'. When I informed the host it was cold, he just repeated the same words to me. It was clear I was not going to get another answer. After leaving we met someone who knew the property who confirmed the pool is actually meant to be heated and this has happened before. -There was no fuel for the bbq. The host said more would be coming the day after we arrived. Then I had to chase him a few times to find out what was happening and just kept being told they were tying to find some. By the time he text around 4pm we gave up waiting and changed our meal plans, which was a shame as we had bought a lot of food soley for a bbq. We were also only staying for one full day too. -The hot water in the house was very inconsistent and we had multiple cold showers. Despite following all instructions provided including using the immersion boost, we found the system seem to not be able to keep up with the amount of hot water being used. This is concerning considering the house is allegedly me

+This was by far the best short break accommodation we have ever stayed at and we travel very regularly. The host's also was unbelievably accommodating and went above and beyond in every way. I want to stay here forever it feels like my dream home. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH.
