“Would’ve been perfect, if it wasn’t for the construction noise”
+The property is extremely well located, with a beautiful view of the Duomo. It’s just a few steps from the Lake, the Duomo and all the shops, restaurants and amenities. The apartment was very clean and organized, supplied with everything you need for a smooth stay. The rooms are very spacious and besides the bathroom there’s also a separate toilet. Self checkin was easy. In general terms this is a great place to stay.
−We were unlucky that during our stay there was a renovation/construction happening in the inner part of the building. This affected our overall experience a lot, as the drilling/sanding noises were unbearable from 7am. Seemed that the construction was happening inside of the bedroom (recordings are available). We felt that this could’ve been previously told by the owner before the free cancellation period ended, so we would’ve had the chance to change if we wanted. We stayed from Thursday to Monday and the only day with no construction noise was Sunday. We also point out that due to the fact that the property is on top of restaurants and bars, on Friday and Saturday the noise of music and people at night is quite loud too. Besides that, there’s still the church bells. All in all, the construction noise bothered us the most. For the price we paid in this property, we were expecting to have had better rest.

+The location is absolutely perfect with perfect view of the Duomo and the flat is very spacious.
−The flat deserve revamping as its old style. Impression being in the 80's 😅. Can fit easily up to 6 pax but there's only 1 real bathroom with shower (lacking pressure). The other 'bathroom' is just a toilet with a sink.... While there is huge space for another shower or even bathtub. The flat is very big...

+The location is absolutely incredible and central. But then again Como is small and a couple of blocks here or there won't make much of a difference. The apartment is spacious, has a wonderful view of the Piazza and can accommodate 6 adults easily. There is plenty of closet space and drawers making it easy to unpack and arrange clothes comfortably.
−The location is quite noisy, even late into the night - we're talking 1:00am! Also, the frosted glass windows, louver blind shutters and curtains don't block all the light and the room was quite bright at 5:20am (see photo). The apartment listing also failed to inform guests that half of the building is currently undergoing construction - I mean hammers, saws, chisels, etc. (see photo showing construction right outside the kitchen window). The listing states that there are two bathrooms; this is partially true. There is one full bathroom with a shower while the other is merely a toilet bowl and a sink - no shower. Water pressure in the shower is rather tricky. Due to the buidling's age, the pressure fluctuates and one needs to anticipate when the pressure will affect the water temperature which also goes from hot to cold due to the varying water pressure. As for air conditioning, there are three units; one in the corridor, another in the family room that has a sofa sleeper and the third, a portable, is in the bedroom with balcony overlooking the Piazza. This portable unit is haunted by demons as it produces the weirdest and loudest noises when the compressor kicks in. I slept with

“Für uns nie wieder!”
+Die Wohnung ist eine absolute Zumutung für diesen Preis! Ausstattung ok mehr auch nicht! Sauberkeit katastrophal, Mülleimer waren nicht geleert, alles total runtergekommen und dreckig. Türen schließen nicht also für uns kommt diese Unterkunft nie wieder in Frage auch nicht wegen der fantastischen Lage.
