“DON’T SLEEP HERE”
+Nothing. It’s quite central but that’s it.
−Everything. After waiting for almost an hour for the guy, we found out that the appartenenti was EXTREMELY DIRTY (we found a chewing gum on a bedsite table to say the least), the bathroom was horrible and we had to find another place to sleep because it did not feel safe to be in so much dirt.

“OK...with caveats.”
+In a good location, easy to get to all areas. Good air conditioning. Spacious.
−Very hard bed. (good for some people). The kitchen and bathroom require a good clean. If you are keen to have a nice terrace , as we were, check with the owner before booking. We hadn't been warned that the terrace and stairs were under construction. It was assumed that we'd sit amongst the rubble. The listing is overall inaccurate, we feel. Including the photo of a door and step. It is not the property 's, which is confusing when looking for door without a number

“Lovely apartment”
+Lovely apartment, very helpful staff. Great and quiet location in the medina. Access to the terrace, best place for getting breakfast - lovely sunrise from there! One of the best stays in Morocco!

“We liked it!”
+We liked staying at Perla Azul very much. Some good reasons: the apartment is easy to reach as it is at the edge of the old town accessible via a ramp close to hotel rif. It provides a separate sleeping room and a combined living room and kitchen with AC in each room. Everything is clean and, I would say, somehow cosy. Moreover, it is quiet as it is a bit off centre but restaurants, bakery and a market are close. Plus, it has a terasse. A big plus is the hot water in the shower which we really appreciated. Not but not least we would like to thank Mohammed who takes care of everything and helps whenever help is needed.
−Some minor negatives which did't bother us but might be others. Allthough the house is easy to reach, the stairs up to the apartment are steep and narrow. The equipment in the kitchen is good enough to prepare little meals but might not be for a full board which however nobody may really want to do.
