+Nancy walked us up to the barn and she showed us all the facilities. The barns are out of the way of traffic which is lovely and peaceful.
−Would have preferred if the particular barn we stayed at had an oven but other then that was a very enjoyable weekend

“I would not recommend this place to anybody”
+The stable was the property we stayed in, it was clean and modern. Lovely bathroom, microwave and dishwasher in the kitchen all worked fine.
−Firstly the farm worker had to move the cows away so we could drive pass them and gain access to the property we where staying property in. They advertised WiFi, this was not the case. The WiFi had not been set up efficiently, therefore we had no Wi-Fi signal in the property, neither in the court yard. my daughter was unable to continue her remote work, as our stay was from Friday to Monday. At one stage the host suggested we go to the neighbouring barn and use their WiFi as we were family. This was not acceptable. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. There was a fly catching strip hanging near the sofa which already had dead flies on it. We couldn’t have windows open as there were a lot of flies and wasps constantly coming in.

“Parkfield Barns August 2025”
+The location was scenic, and the barns were lovely. It was 30 minutes away from Milton Keynes, which was good for us. The staff were attentive and were accessible only when we could get a mobile signal, which meant going for a walk.
−The bathroom was an accessible bathroom for wheelchair users. The drainage was not suitable, and so the whole floor was continuously wet and dirty when people needed to use the toilet. We were constantly using towels to dry the floor. The staff were attentive to our concerns and provided additional towels. When we arrived, we had to borrow pots to cook with from the neighbouring barn. Again, the staff were attentive when we raised this and provided pots the next day. The plates and glasses were dirty, and even though I always wash plates and glasses before use, it was disappointing that they were not clean. There isn't a dishwasher, so we had concerns about them getting a deep clean. The barn is in the middle of nowhere, which is nice, but there is no signal. The WiFi was hit and miss, which left us quite vulnerable at night. Again, when reported, the staff were attentive to troubleshooting the router, which unfortunately for us relied on them climbing up ladders to access the roof above us. This was done without our knowledge until we saw someone climbing up the ladder by our bedroom window. I think it would be courteous to knock on the door and let us know. The barn was for 4 peo
