“Incredible”
+This property was such an amazing find for our trip to Lixouri! We had family staying in a hotel 10 minutes away and wanted somewhere close to them/ good locations - we didn’t expect much but, this property truly blew us away. It was down the road from Lixouri port where there was so many great restaurants and bars, and where we could get the ferry over to Argostoli if we wanted somewhere even more lively. Our hosts were exceptional and welcoming, no ask was too big. They gave us some great recommendations on places to try, and even made us a meal later on in our stay - which was beautiful. The accommodation had everything you could possibly want or need. The small kitchenette was great to cook in and we had all the utensils we needed, washing machine was great to have for a 9 day stay, and we really loved having 2 air-con units near the bed making our sleeps so comfortable. Bonus points too for a lovely outdoor space where we could sit out in the evenings and take in the stunning views of Lixouri and beyond. We would book this again in a heartbeat… it was truly one of the best places we have ever stayed. 20/10 🇬🇷💙

“An amazing apartment in an amazing location with an amazing management team.”
+A great property and a great location. Property is a private apartment above a doctor surgery. It is very secluded and very secure. The apartment is quite new and well decorated and very stylish with an amazing wooden roof. It also has balconies at both sides one small one which is good for drying clothes and a larger one, which is great for sitting on a nighttime with a drink looking over the village and the mountains. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could need for a holiday. The staff who manage the apartment are amazing and could not do any more to help us getting settled in, recommending restaurants and attractions and generally making us feel welcome. We even got a free Kefalonia pie which tasted amazing and a salad to go with it made by the doctor‘s wife.

“Lovely apartment in the centre of Lixouri”
+It was clean, great location, all essentials were provided which was very helpful and the kitchen was well-equipped. The hosts were also lovely & helpful.
−As the location was so good and close to the square this did mean it was noisy late at night and in the mornings.

“Lovely comfortable stay”
+Lovely apartment behind the main square in Lixouri, with views to the sea from the rear balcony. As mentioned in previous reviews it is a home from home, arrive unpack and relax (there is a home for everything, walk in wardrobe). Ideal for a long stay. Spotlessly clean on arrival, all you have to do is empty bins and make your own bed. Full small kitchen, perfect if you want to cater for yourself, it has everything you need. We had a super stay
−Small shower with curtain and lighting in the bathroom is not ideal, this is me being picky, accommodation still deserves a 10.

“A perfect place to stay in Lixouri.”
+Lovely studio apartment with everything you could need and very centrally located. Eleanna is an absolutely delightful host and it was a lovely surprise to have some scrumptious homemade food from the owner.

+Spottles clean accomodation, spacious, modernly and tastefuly furnished, equipped with all the facilities one might need, very friendly and helpful host, she provided a wide variety of food for breakfast and made us a traditional meat pie for one lunch/dinner. Apartment close to Lixoury centre (many shops, restaurants nearby). Very useful 2 units of AC. Very good value for money compared to other properties in Kefalonia.
−Apartment on the main road that crosses Lixoury, noise could be heard from the cars and motorcieles at night. But we got used to it after 2 days and was not such a big issue anymore.

“A Cozy Apartment”
+Nicely decorated - a creative use of space on the upper floor of a medical practice. The host left fruit, jams, and water for us - a nice touch. There are two balconies and with both screen doors open there is a nice breeze - there is a distant view of the sea from the back balcony. Good black-out curtains block the morning sun. A washing machine, large clothes drying rack, and abundant clothes pins (not always found in apartments). The WiFi is very good. Location near a grocery store, bakeries, close to restaurants, shopping and the town square. The kitchen is very small but it makes good use of space and is well equipped. A coffee maker and coffee were provided. The bed was comfortable and towels, bedding, extra blanket, etc. were individually packaged.
−Shower is small and the nozzle was loose but we reported it to the manager so we assume it will be fixed. On a busy street so cars going by can be noisy.

“Excellent Apartment.”
+Beautiful apartment, well finished and fitted out with all the modern amenities.
−Would have been more convenient with an extra set of door keys.This would make if easy if one wanted to stay in and there other go out, as when you remove the key from the apartment all the power goes off.
