+This apartment is in a great location, just a stone's throw from the beach. The place was modern, spotless, and incredibly well looked after. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, and having useful household items like toiletries and detergents provided was a huge plus. The welcome basket was also a lovely, thoughtful touch.
−We enjoyed our stay, but the yard setup was a disappointment. There is no door leading directly from the apartment to the yard. Every time we wanted to eat outside or let our dog use the space, we had to go through the front door and around to the side gate. It is just something to be aware of if you are traveling with a pet or plan on dining outside often.

“Not the best”
+The beach was lovely and only a 1 min walk from the property Bed was comfortable Kitchen well equipped Village was nice, friendly people, location and surrounding area was spot on.
−There was 2 adults and a dog staying here.. The reviews all mentioned how clean the property was so i was saddened that when we arrived, the property hadn't been cleaned to an even medium standard There had been no hoovering at all so my first job was sweeping and hoovering all the floors, the bathroom, kitchen, living room and entrance, all had dirty floors, you could hear the stones being sucked into the hoover, not acceptable really, im on holiday, and paying over £500 for 3 nights, I expect cleanliness!! bedroom floor was OK. The entrance hall was filthy and hasn't been touched. The kitchen sides still had crumbs on them, kitchen floor had a sticky patch Not great! Courtyard wasn't pleasant to sit in as there is a very aggressive dog living next door, which nobody else has mentioned so maybe we just had all the bad luck? The dog was jumping up at windows and trying to get throtgh the fence, barking, growling, snarling and showing its teeth at my dog, owner was oblivious in educating this dog. Property was unbearable because of the heat, had to buy a fan. Property was always dark but i appreciate nothing can be done about that because of the building style Cooker has no markings

“Comfortable and clean. A nice calm break”
+This property was clean and everything we needed for a 5 day stay.
−The downside for us was no door to the garden from the sitting room. However had weather been warmer it might have been more annoying.

“Very pleasant and comfortable and convenient place to be”
+Great location near the beach just a brisk walk from Berwick upon tweed. The apartment was freshly decorated and the furnishings were very comfortable and clean
−The heating wasn’t on when we arrived and it was very cold and took a while to warm up. The owner has assured me that it should have been on but I think the timer had been set incorrectly!

−The property was sold with a garden,which is handy if you take a dog ,it didn’t say you couldn’t access it from the property,I wouldn’t have booked it if was aware of this

“Great weekend visiting some of our favourite places!”
+Excellent location a minute from the beach, clean, comfortable and well equipped. A lovely welcome basket was provided with eggs,porridge and home made jam! ( much appreciated ) Delightful cottage perfect for exploring all that Northumbria has to offer. Will definitely return.
