“We loved Ballachulish which gave us access to Fort William, Glen Lochan Trail, and beautiful views.”
+Thomas had milk, coffee, tea, and snacks, which we really appreciated. We had not been able to access wifi for the emails Thomas had sent with excellent directions to the property. The booking.com directions are definitely not adequate, so be sure to get Thomas's directions from his email before arriving. The location is down a small road, so the directions are necessary.
−The shower - it was not easy to get consistently hot water. Booking.com directions are not sufficient to locate the property.

“Great location. Adequate accommodation in need of upgrading at the price being charged”
+Excellent views and perfect location for Glen Coe. Clean.
−The property decor is tired inside and needs an upgrade. Whilst clean and as described for £200.00 a night I expect more than adequate. I stayed on one of the hottest weekends on record and despite the owner being very conscious of the heat and providing the chalet with air conditioning and even additional fans it was unbearable. There is a big difference between providing basic fans from the middle isle of Lidl than making an investment into a commercial air conditioning unit.

“Just like home away from home”
+Tommy is a very friendly host and the chalet had really everything you might need. I felt so cosy there.
−Check in at 4 pm is, on average, a little bit later than many other places.

“Beautiful...”
+It was not my first time to Oakview Chalet. As the first time, I was delighted to stay there again! I always feel home in Scotland and particularly to this location (Glencoe areas). As before, everything was very clean and comfortable. I loved the wee Scottish coo on the bed to welcome you 😊 (that was new). Add to this, some wee snacks in the kitchen were appreciated (this was new too 🙂). Again, the place was sooooooo quiet! Wich I value a lot! And glad I was able to meet the owner this time, Tommy, a very kind person and available if need to. Now, it's like a ritual for me to come to Oakview. I will come back again for sure 🙂
−Nothing to say in here.
