+An old house, full of character in a quiet location. Very clean and really comfortable futon beds. Gives a real sense of nostalgia for a peaceful time. Good to see close up how the old buildings were made. Very helpful host, made us feel welcome at the local festival. Super views of Fuji from the end of the road!

“Rustic traditional and quiet home by the sea.”
+I loved the rustic artisan feel of the house. The bed was super comfy with a soft pillow than goodness. I like the coffee bags and wifi was great.
−I liked the property, but it was expensive for a solo traveller. There only seems to be space for 2 single beds but the house is big enough for a family. I had a car but with no mode of transport getting there would be tough. The 7 eleven was only a 500m walk but that might be an problem if someone has mobility issues. The restaurants were few and most were closed.

“A very different and memorable place to stay”
+Lovely traditional Japanese house in great location. Helpful host gave clear access instructions and also accepted a package sent to us from a previous accommodation (many thanks), nice to have a bit more space after several small hotel rooms, the Izu peninsula is lovely area to explore if you have a car
−Not many restaurants open in the area (but we cooked for ourselves anyway)

+The host was incredible and very communicative. Everything we needed was already there and the host lived close by and offered to help with any thing. There were no issues and everything was very easy.

“タイムスリップ落ち着いた温かい宿”
+オーナー様がとっても気さくで、温かく親切で、安心して滞在できました。施設は歴史を感じますが、手入れは行き届いており、布団もフワフワ気持ちよく眠れました。最高でした。本当にありがとうございました。

“Beautiful Nora, cycling around the coast and the great host”
+The house is traditional Japan style and very beautiful; for us everything was prefect.The whole place is completely different than Tokyo; here you can really relax and see the other side of Japan; you can feel the country here. The area is not so touristic, it feels more like fishing village. You can rent bicycles and we were cycling around the cost. I highly recommend it, but you have to be careful and I wouldn’t go with children on that roads. I have to tell that our host was so kind, friendly and he did every favour we ask him. When we came to say hello and because we didn’t have a car he drove us to supermarket. About house Nora and the host I can say only good things and spending time there was relaxing and enjoying. “Agréable maison japonaise”
+Maison traditionnelle japonaise, avec son confort et équipement simple mais suffisant. Nous avons pu cuisiner avec ce que nous avons apporté, mais il y a un seven eleven proche, pas de resto.
−Rien, tout correspondait à ce qui est présenté, aucune déception.
