+Lovely place in a quiet location, bit of a walk to town but not terrible. Nice sized rooms with the kitchen being particularly pleasant, with all the bits and bobs you would likely require. Although the weather stopped us making use of it, the garden was also another lovely and welcome addition.
−Found ourselves needing to use the heating and whilst the downstairs warmed up nicely the upstairs did not come on at all. Queried this with the host and whilst did not get a response we did wake to a warm upstairs. This does indicate that the heating is being controlled remotely, the type of thermostat does allow that, which would also explain the temperature turning down all by itself. The locked second floor, whilst not really an issue, is a bit disconcerting when one hears noises coming from it - the host should address this upfront. Whilst not major these elements did detract from what was an otherwise cracking little place.

“Brilliant stay in a lovely area. This is a super property.”
+Spacious. Lovely quiet street and great split level garden. Super kitchen too. Bedrooms were large and beds really comfortable. Property was classy throughout. Highly recommend.
−Brilliant property & a microwave would have been a good addition to the kitchen. Spring load on key box didn’t work which caused very slight delay on entry. All very minor though - this is an exceptional property.

“Great house and location, incomplete listing and unclean”
+The house itself is lovely and is situated in a pleasant, quiet neighbourhood. The location is tucked away and feels private and peaceful. The property benefits from two parking spaces, which is very convenient, particularly for families or larger groups. The property is suitable for a family stay.
−The cleanliness was well below the standard we expected. We found extensive dust on surfaces and windowsills, hairs in the shower and bathroom areas, and debris, hair and urine around the toilet and sink. The photographs taken on arrival show examples of these issues. The property listing led us to believe we would have sole occupancy; however, there was an undisclosed loft flat within the building that we were not aware of before arrival. During the evening we heard unexplained noises from the main bedroom area, which, combined with the undisclosed loft accommodation, made us uncomfortable about whether we were the only occupants. As we were travelling with young children, we did not feel safe or comfortable remaining at the property so cut our 1 night stay short by leaving at 12.30am.

“Very nice and a convenient stop off point on our visit to Dorset”
+Very clean, contemporary, nice outdoor space,
−I had emailed a couple of days prior to check in to ask about arrangements but didn't get a response. We had agreed a check in time of between 4 and 5 pm, we arrived at 4.50 pm but no-one was around to let us in. I didn't have internet access to check emails to see if any information had been sent so had to call on the next door neighbour who was extremely helpful contacting you to ask for the lock box number. I was then able to access my emails once we had got in to the property around 5.45pm. This was frustrating as I had tried to check this out in advance.
