7.0“Great Quirky Place - a little tired”
+Great Place and location, quirky and comfortable, good value for a stay in the area, nice that they provide tea, coffe etc
−The place is looking a little tired and cold be cleaner - I know its an old cottage but general maintenance needs to be kept if the place is to attract our booking again

10.0+The cottage was comfortable, welcoming, a real home from home feeling to it. The age of the cottage led to interesting areas. Lovely cottage and we would/will look to stay again.
−This is outside of the cottages owners control, but there is early traffic noise through the village early morning.

10.0“Lovely cottage perfect for exploring the area”
+We had a lovely time at Myrtle Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable. The shower was hot, and very nice. The toiletries were a nice touch. The toilet was separate to the shower room. There is a dining area and a well equipped kitchen. You can park down the adjoining road. We always had a space. The cottage is very old. It's a listed building. As such it has low ceilings and exposed beams. To get to the bedrooms upstairs you need to use a very tight, steep spiral staircase. There is a banister but it is not for the infirm, young children or those not good with stairs. This was fine for us though. The main bedroom has a double bed then the next twin room is separated by a curtain that you can pop down. We have had unprecedented hot weather and the cottage, along with the rest of the country, was very warm. Fans are in both bedrooms which was appreciated. We had the windows open at night and the large agricultural vehicles do go past in the early hours but when the windows are shut you do not notice the noise as much. The cottage is also perfect for visiting nearby areas like Norwich, Eye, Diss and even over to Great Yarmouth and up to Cromer.
−The cottage was fine for us.

8.0“Lovely place, helpful staff and owner”
+Host was really helpful, cleaners were lovely, and the house itself was beautiful. There were also small fans in the bedrooms.
−It gets REALLY hot here in summer, and the fans and didn't really do much to beat the heat. A bigger fan or some AC would make this place 10/10

5.0−We found the property difficult to find - the directions could have been much clearer. We were expecting a bedroom with a double bed and one with twin beds but we were not aware that the access to the twin room was through the double room and that they were only separated by a curtain. Both bedroom spaces were cramped. The shower tray did not drain away quickly owing to a huge build up of hair at the drainage point. The plug in the sink in the shower room didn't work due to limescale build up and the taps in the sink in the toilet did not work either. We were pleased we were only staying for one night.

9.0“Great stay, good value”
+Lovely shower and comfy bed, warm, good range of kitchen facilities and nice decor in a character property. Good communication from Rob, very accommodating.
−No fresh milk, outer door step difficult to see in the dark (needs a white line edging), downstairs toilet, steep steps to bedrooms
