“Great Space, Too Many Unpleasant Surprises”
+The location is convenient , there is a bus stop nearby. The apartment itself is quite spacious and can comfortably fit four people. For the same price, you can find a similar private apartment on Airbnb in other areas of the island, or otherwise you might end up in a hostel in the center sharing a room with many other guests.
−The area has almost no infrastructure apart from the bus stop. Instead of a quiet location, there is active construction around the building, and the noise can easily disturb your sleep. The staff is not helpful and shows very little interest in solving guests’ problems. After payment was already completed, an unexpected €200 damage deposit appeared. For accommodation costing around €50 per night, this feels excessive and should be clearly communicated before booking. There are also many rules that make the stay feel less welcoming. Guests are expected to wash dishes before leaving, and the overall tone feels quite passive-aggressive - almost as if you are expected to do a full cleaning before checkout. Towels are apparently treated as a very valuable asset, since taking them outside is strictly forbidden. There were also cockroaches in the bathroom. This may simply be a feature of many buildings in Malta, as they seemed to be coming in through the small bathroom window rather than indicating poor housekeeping. Still, it's something future guests should be aware of, as it wasn't a pleasant surprise. When I entered the room, there was a very strong smell of urine near the sink area.

+Was the penthouse suite so we had a balcony which was nice. Air con worked really well.
−When we got there the lift was cranky and didn’t sound fully functional but when we took the stairs it was very tight and there were some people that didn’t make us feel comfortable. Area felt sketchy and we didn’t feel safe. All cutlery/cookware was dirty so we had to wash everything again, ants on the floor, shower head kept falling down as well as mould on the shower floor. Bed was uncomfortable. We paid a deposit and every sign was threatening to take our money away so we were always paranoid. There was some loud music coming from downstairs and it got reported and we were threatened with our deposit, the owner made us get a video of 2 floors below us to show it wasn’t us otherwise they would take our deposit. When going downstairs we didn’t feel safe especially as we had seen some of the guests and they didn’t seem friendly. The reviews aren’t bad on the property which is why us as a young couple booked this stay but if anyone was to ask I would definitely not recommend this place. We always got back before dark due to the sketchy area, also not much around such as shops or restaurants.

+Well equipped modern appartment. Close to bus stops. Located in the middle between Valletta and Sliema. Very helpful and friendly owner👍
−Area of the appartment is not very nice, neither the views from the balcony or the terrace.

−L’ultimo giorno ci siamo accorti che i filtri dell’aria condizionata non erano proprio pulitissimi e soprattutto se non si sa precisamente dove si trova la struttura non si riesce a capire da fuori non avendo nemmeno un insegna o qualcosa del genere

“Θα το πρότεινα αλλά θέλει περισσότερη δουλειά στη καθαριότητα”
+Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται σε καλή τοποθεσία ήταν άνετο δεν αντιμετωπίσαμε πρόβλημα να το βρούμε . Ο ιδιοκτήτης πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει . Τα κρεβάτια ήταν ανετα
−Η καθαριότητα ήταν ένα ελάττωμα καθώς την ώρα του check in η καθαρίστρια βρισκόταν ακόμα μέσα και δεν ήταν καλά σκουπισμένο μάλλον έγινε την τελευταία στιγμή . Το ασανσέρ δε δούλευε αλλά αυτό δεν είναι πρόβλημα το σπιτιού . Δεν είχε κάποιο σαμπουάν ή αφρόλουτρο στο μπάνιο και στο πιστολάκι μαλλιών έλλειπε

−En primer lugar, las zonas comunes como escaleras o ascensor desprendían un olor insoportable. Al segundo día de nuestra estancia en los apartamentos el ascensor dejó de funcionar, estando en una cuarta planta nos dificultó bastante el acceso a los apartamentos, de haber sabido que no disponiamos de ascensor nos hubiesemos planteado buscar otro sitio puesto que algunos de nosotros tienen problemas de movilidad y se les ha imposibilitado su salida y entrada del edificio. Por otro lado, no se nos informó al hacer la reserva de que había un descampado en obras justo en frente del apartamento, las cuales nos imposibilitaron descansar correctamente empezando a las 7 de la mañana, con un ruido ensordecedor, además del polvo que levantaba la obra lo cual dejaba el apartamento aún más sucio de lo que ya estaba en un principio. Siguiendo con las condiciones de limpieza del apartamento, sobre las cuales adjuntaré fotografias del mismo día de llegada, para evitar un cobro indebido de la fianza. El estropajo de lavar los platos estaba deshecho, y al no tener un lavavajillas dificultó la limpieza, la escoba tenía mucha suciedad (adjunto imagen), los estractores estaban muy sucios y llenos de gr
