+We had a lovely stay at Mountain Cottages. The house was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and quick to respond whenever I had a question. We also really appreciated the thoughtful complimentary treats.Honestly, the only thing we didn't like was having to leave! We had such a lovely stay and would have happily stayed longer. 😊 such a lovely touch! Overall, a wonderful experience and we would happily stay again. Highly recommended!

“Brilliant location , very comfy”
+These cottages are brilliant. Myself and my friends stayed for two nights for our graduations. It is a great base for Tralee but also for heading down the dingle side. It is perfect for a group of 5 , very comfy and warm , beds very cosy , full kitchen. Great views of the bay and a nice touch was they leave bread milk and orange juice. They refurbed since last year ,this is our second year staying with them and they did an exceptional job. They had since added decking and seating outside the front door which was a brilliant idea and I’d say lovely for summer time. Overall we had an excellent stay , and it is brilliant value, I would highly recommend for anyone. We will definitely be back!
−Everything was brilliant, only suggestion I’d make is to remove the outdoor cushions after summer for winter as they were starting to get weathered

−The kitchen was good but requires more utensils, cooking ware and plates/serving bowls etc Having to wait for shower to re heat after each use is annoying.

“Holiday homes outside Tralee”

−The peaceful location was a little out of town, so a car is necessary for all travel

+The location was perfect. View of the sea in the distance, with beautiful mountains behind us. 7min from Tralee. 45min from Killarney, 10min to castle Gregory. It felt safe and was great for kids too.
−We stayed in late autumn, and the condensation on windows was bad in the morning, but that is typical of most Irish houses. There was only a large fridge, no freezer. No wine bottle opener. We had a small issue with the back door, but Orla was very quick to respond and fix the issue. Overall it was very good, and perfect for our family of four.

“Hidden Gem”
+Wonderful, overall experience. Place is lovley. Nice treat to have bread and butter, orange juice and milk on arrival.
−The living room furniture was not very comfortable and very low. Makes getting up for older individuals difficult. The mattresses were not comfy on my single bed. No I one else had any complaints
