“Good and cozy, good value for money”

“Safe location and decent apartment for the price, however there is a lot of room for improvement!”
+We were in South Africa for a wedding and the location was very close to our family. It felt secure and the kids were able to be outside freely in the daytime. The apartment itself had the basic amenities expected (fridge/freezer, tv, desk, dishes) and was the perfect size for our family of four. The owner was really approachable and very flexible with our check in time, and just generally very accommodating. We didn’t have a car but it was really easy to get an uber from the location. The wifi was definitely high speed and worked well for us. My husband and I were both still working and were able to have online meetings without any issues.
−It could be a much nicer apartment with a bit of maintenance and maybe a couple of upgrades. I was surprised that there was no showerhead at all which made mornings a bit more challenging, but we managed. However the water was often quite cold, if not before we had a bath by the time one person did. The couch was not at all comfortable and very weird to sit on. The sheets in one of the beds were stained. Although the apartment was generally clean, the remote was sticky and the TV didn’t work for us, although this wasn’t a big deal as we weren’t often in. As it was winter, it would have been nice to have a heater for the mornings/evenings because it was quite cold. Despite there being advertised quiet times, the early mornings specifically got quite noisy.

“It was a very quiet place , we liked it so much”
+The location was not offering the breakfast.I liked the comfort and the area was clean
−The place was so hard to get. When we arrived on the gate the security guard was not aware we were coming. The hot water was not enough which required us to boil the water from the kettle. The was no dishcloth or any paper towels maybe that should be written down so that people can bring. A long mirror would have been appreciated more

“Clean it up and make it a winner!”
+Chantal was amazing and answered all our questions. She also went out of her way to ensure that we could book in earlier. When we had trouble with the WIFI, she also patiently assisted us to get it up and running again. That is the only reason for the score re staff. The beds were comfy, but the plastic on the base was weird.
−The apartment is beautiful and has so much potential, I didn't like the couch as it was hard and uncomfortable and really made watching TV unpleasant. But what disappointed me the most was cleanliness or lack thereof. The couch had stains on it, the pillows on the couch we dirty, and the zippers were broken. The floors were very sticky, and the oven door could not fully close, so we could not use it. The dishes were dirty, and so were the utensils even though they were in a box. They were the weirdest utensils I have ever seen, as if they were meant for a little dollhouse, so we bought disposable plates, cups and knives, spoons, and forks. The bathroom looked pretty, but the toilet leaked all the time. The taps on the basin were loose, and the only mirror was the one in the bathroom with very little light. The cupboards in the bedroom were old, and the chipboard came off on our clothing that we unpacked, and we later realized that it was damp. When I opened the window in the bedroom, I ended up with the handle in my hand. I have very sensitive skin, so brought along dust might spray and sprayed everywhere, I had to sanitize the remotes for the TV as that was sticky too. There were
