“Loved the location and the very comfy room”
+Loved the location and the very comfy room. On a very cold wet day the fire in the room was so welcome. The bar and restaurant are in the same building and we parked close by.

+It was very clean, lots of amenities, had a fantastic outlook and was part of the complex which had food and a general store. Although not relevant to us as we stayed in October it was extremely close to the chair lift for winter skiing
−There were a few of the Bogan moths but that’s not the facilities fault apparently a bad year for them

+The location is just beautiful it’s attached to “ The General” which makes everything easy. Lovely Bar Staff are available to help out with any questions.Food and atmosphere on site. Lovely stay.
−The Bathroom needs repairs it was the end of the season but still the exhaust fan was making this awful noise like a fan with objects sitting in it. IF YoU ACCIDENTALLY TURNED IT ON THE NOISE WAS SO LOUD. Not pleasant at all in the middle of the night when you are half asleep and not wanting to wake everyone up. I reported problem and nothing was done to fix it. 😞

−We stay here every year. unfortunately this time apartment 4 stunk like sewer and lots of mould and rot was observed throughout . Seems like stairs were upgraded with new carpet, which are very slippery both myself and 6yo daughter slipped on separate occasions. The stairs definitely do not comply! I suggest you explore this for your future client's safety.

“Amazingly beautiful and we loved our 3 day stay”
+Location was excellent Shuttle bus stopped right out the front of the General Rooms were easy to get to The fire pit was accessible The kitchen was complete with everything we needed The beds were comfy and the rooms heated well

“Was a fantastic place to stay and would definitely stay again!”
+Fantastic location, close to Big D and everything you need at The General! The apartments were spacious and the kitchenette made it so easy for a family. The staff were lovely and super helpful.
−The apartment needs a little bit of maintenance in regards to the bathroom door and couches in the room.

−As this was our first visit to Mt Hotham, I would have liked to have received a welcome booklet or information pack about the area, including things to do, places to eat and other useful information for first-time visitors. A map of the local area showing the village, accommodation, facilities and car parks would also have been very helpful, particularly when arriving and finding our way around for the first time. I also feel that, considering the price of the accommodation, complimentary bottled water or drinking water in the room would have been a nice and appreciated inclusion.
