+Staff were very responsive to question I had before arrival. I knew from the photos when I booked that I was looking forward to a lovely place to stay & it was exactly that, a beautiful studio style room / apartment I was allocated ! Beautifully furnished, in modern, comfortable style ! Very fresh, clean, crisp, bright & white with desirable roll top bath under the big bay window (with blinds!) at the foot end of the bed with ensuite shower 🚿, toilet & wash basin & kitchenette with good sized under counter fridge & cooking facilities & kitchen sink, kettle, toaster & all the cups / mugs, glasses, crockery, pans, cutlery, utensils needed for food & drinks. Hanging space for clothes, ironing board & iron, hairdryer, etc.. The communal entrance lobby & stairway is also equally ambient, stylish & well cared for & maintained. The location feels upper class, wealthy, safe, peaceful sunny, clean & bright with a sunny seaside feel ! Lovely !
−Everything was fine. Carpark immediately in front is limited to only a few spaces but when full, there was free parking in road in front / opposite so that was all good & fine, able to get near enough to load / unload car to unpack & pack. Location is a few minutes drive to central Bournemouth or 1/2 an hour walk along the beachfront which I did & actually enjoyed very much, each day because carparking is very expensive in central Bournemouth. It's a fair few minutes walk to the sea if you're fit & able.

+Good location, easy walkable distance to beach and Westbourne.
−The apartment was basic. The kitchenette was usable but small, there was no plug for the sink and no washing up bowl. I notified owners about this but it wasn’t rectified during our stay. Decent sized cooking equipment was minimal, although basics were provided. On rainy nights there was a loud dripping noise from the broken/damaged guttering above the apartment roof outside. The outside light never turned off, day or night.

“disappointing, misleading pictures”

−Unfortunately, the pictures no longer reflect the actual condition of the place. They were most likely taken straight after the refurbishment, whereas the property now looks visibly worn. The tap in the bathroom sink is not properly attached. It looks like someone has tried to glue it back in place, but this has not worked. The tiles and sealant are also heavily marked. Some of the floor panels were loose in places as well, which added to the overall feeling that the property needs some maintenance. The main living space is very dark. The main source of natural light is the entrance door, and as the space is quite long, very little light reaches the rest of the room. The TV is mounted very high, almost at ceiling level, which makes it uncomfortable to watch if you are planning to spend your evenings inside. Overall, the pictures are misleading and the reality does not meet the expectations they create.
