“Fabulous”
+Modern interior, cool basement in original stone, open plan kitchen, amazing view of monastery and sea, great location for tavernas and old town, ease of access, all appliance kitchen.

+Nice apartment and clean.
−Directions to apartment were poor. Google maps does not work in the back alleyways of Nisyros. A few locals helped up find the property. Roof deck was good for views but no chairs or safety railings. So felt unsafe.

−The accommodation is located in a hard-to-reach area, accessible only via numerous stairs and situated within a maze-like neighborhood. The management of the property by the owner was unacceptable, with extremely poor communication with the local manager. Upon our arrival, we were forced to search for the property for three hours, as no one had sent us any information in advance , as they clearly should have. The rental cost is outrageous for what is being offered. It is a very old house with makeshift renovations, drywall constructions, and extremely cramped bedrooms and bathroom. One of the bedrooms, in particular, had a bad smell due to a lack of proper ventilation. The second bedroom does not have air conditioning. The bathrooms are so small that you can barely fit through the entrance , no exaggeration. Access to the rooftop is advertised, but the local manager told us she couldn’t open the hatch due to lack of strength. Apparently, we were supposed to do it ourselves. Overall, this was a highly unsuitable stay on every level. We were treated as a source of money, not as guests.

+Video instructions to access property were also provided and the host communicated well. We did not have face to face contact. The property had very useful inclusions - washing machine, clothes line, airer and pegs and a well equipped kitchen. Clean and unique setting.Thoughtful local products provided. Keep in mind if you have luggage it is a 15 minute walk up hill and many steps from the port. Also note there are narrow steps leading to the bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs.
−There is a step in the kitchen very close to the front doorway. It could be dangerous. The ensuite shower is small.

−We had agreed with the host to check-in early. We were not given any directions proactively, and we reached out to the host the night before. The host was responded 30 minutes before the agreed check-in time, only to let us know that we cannot checkin earlier as agreed.

“Very nice apartment but hosting can be improved.”
+The house is very nice, recently renovated and it has a terrace with great view.
−The hosts did not provide anything consumable. There was not even a bottle of water in the fridge. It's the first time I do not find some water. Also, not even some instant coffee or sugar. That's basic stuff that all hosts provide. One more thing for the host to improve, shampoo in the bathroom was almost empty and it was just a small plastic bottle without label (shampoo or shower gel?).

+It looks great and the house is absolutely stunning. The rooms look newly designed and decorated and we had fun cooking and enjoying the space. The terrace is magnificent! The manager of the apartment is really kind and helped us out when we needed her. Easy to contact 😁. Really happy we chose this place!
−The bed is really hard, but that’s a personal preference. When we first arrived there was a weird smell in the bedroom(s), probably something to do with humidity. The bedroom is underground, which might have something to do with it. Over time, with using the airconditioning, it went away!

+Beautiful apartment, good placement.
−Small bathrooms, problems with water supply and drainage. No water bottle or anything else as a welcome. Faulty entrance key that makes entrance quite hard.

+The house is recently renovated, and it is beautiful. The location is a bit far from the centre. The street has some steps. If you have heavy trolleys it can be a little difficult. The view from the windows and the rooftop is perfect. The beds and the mattress are very good. Kitchen has new equipment. No problem with water. Wifi is good. Mobile phone signal can be low.
−The rooms are in the "underground". Some smell of humidity, but we solved it with air condition in dry mode. The bathrooms are small, especially for big people. The advantage of underground rooms is that they are fresh also when the outside temperature is hot.
