10.0+The best interior design of any self catering accommodation I've stayed in, incredibly comfortable, and felt right at (very stylish) home! Right in the heart of Rye, an absolute treat of a place - stayed in summer getting to enjoy the garden, but could imagine this being an incredible hide away in winter too.

10.0“A beautiful stay!”
+A beautiful cottage in a perfect location. The cottage is so cosy with everything you need and is decorated beautifully, it feels like an experience staying here. It was super clean and you’re 30 seconds to the high street for coffee, restaurants and sites. The garden is a lovely place to relax and is very calm and quiet. Would visit again.

9.0“The Monastery cottage was a great base for our stay in Rye and for exploring the Sussex coast.”
+Amazing location in the heart of Rye but in a quiet area. Allocated parking right outside and a lovely outdoor seating area too. The cottage is beautifully decorated with amazing attention to detail. The owner responded super quickly if we had any queries or problems.
−The toilet was a bit tricky at first but the owner fixed it promptly when we were on a day out.

8.0“Beautiful and cosy cottage in a great location”
+Very beautiful with really intentional and considered decor, think historical and classical but also luxe and cosy. Fantastic location for exploring Rye. Private parking was super handy. Appreciated the inclusion of coffee and the use of eco-friendly products. Kitchen has all needed basics.
−A few more practical touches are needed, eg places to hang towels near the sink, better lighting especially near mirrors and in the bathroom (where one window near the loo needs to have the curtain drawn most of the time for privacy), more plug sockets, and a shower curtain that doesn’t partly fall into the bath when being used. Some surfaces were quite dusty.

10.0“Incredible location, property and friendly host”
+Everything - location, cleanliness, asethetics.
−Host said he sent through a welcome back, but didn't get the link in the Booking.com chat, via email or any other means that I could think would be sent, so might have been a glitch. But very responsive on text and was sorted straight away!

9.0“Cosy cottage in central location”
+A great cosy old cottage for a couple or a lone traveller. A lot of effort has been put into the interior with some really nice touches to give you a true sense of the history of the building. It is also a very central location, getting around Rye from here was easy.
