“Wonderful stay in comfortable, spacious accommodation”
+Lovely quiet location in gorgeous Yorkshire village. Spacious and comfortable accommodation, thoughtful extra touches provided by the host. Pub with excellent food within walking distance and easily accessible to York and Yorkshire countryside by car. Easy parking. Lovely neat and tidy garden and very private.

“Lovely cottage in peaceful location, easy to explore local area by car”
+lovely quiet location, near a little park and fields for walking. Just a short drive to Easingwold which was a lovely little village, and 20mins drive to York (park and ride was easy to use). Helpful to have some welcome food (butter, bread, eggs, and the wine was lovely!)
−we would have liked firmer pillows on the bed, but otherwise all was excellent!

“Beautiful, well appointed cottage. Highly recommended and will certainly go again.”
+Beautifully decorated cottage. Good layout. Very comfortable beds. Luckily we had good weather so were able to sit out as often as we wanted in the lovely garden. Arrival package of milk, eggs, bread and wine much appreciated. Other touches like bathroom -shampoo, shower gel, kitchen - cleaning products, tinfoil etc all available.
−Absolutely nothing!

“Lovely house and location”
+Greeted by Jayne, a very pleasant lady. Eggs, bread, butter milk, treat and condiment left for use. Clean and ready to start stay.Generally great house as described. The village was pretty with blossoming trees with little traffic . Local pub The Bell ,good food and friendly informative owners and staff. Fresh vegetables ,eggs, etc. on the street stall . For our purposes, perfect central location for York,Emmerdale ,Pickering all less than hour away . Bread van comes Sunday morning, just near the end of the road. Nearest local shop about 5 minutes drive .
−If we have to be picky ,we have filters on our water taps, so we found water tasted of chlorine. They had groundwork in the area, so maybe reason at the time of our visit. With a simple solution, we used bottled water in kettle.
