9.0“Peaceful place”
+No breakfast provided
−More milk required for coffee. Olive oil to be provided rather than Canola oil. The Canola oil was 2 years out of date. The ceiling fan above the bed requires cleaning.

5.0“Stunning location, disappointing presentation.”
+Fantastic location, easy to find in a charming character filled heritage village.
−Initial street presentation was poor - overgrown garden & paths, so many weeds, gutters full of grass etc. Generally needing some exterior attention - pruning, weeding, sweep etc. Inside was well overdue a deep clean. Very strong chemical smell (commercial deodoriser?). Mouse droppings in kitchen cupboard. Went to grab a blanket from BIR - full of cobwebs, mouse droppings & dead millipede segmants. Generally needs a clean with attention to detail - ie; wall art/pictures dusty with cobwebs, skirtings, light fittings, curtains grotty, windows & screens filthy. Inside vintage chiffioner was gross (refer pic). Tourist brochures 10+ years old/outdated. Very basic ammenities/supplies in kitchen. Needs some general love both Inside & out!

8.0“A very charming, cosy and special place to stay”
+Gorgeous house and ambience with garden to sit in, cosy living room and clever use of a relatively small space. Great hot water and shower; tv; clean sheets; generous sofas and cosy wood fire creates a very homely atmosphere. I really like that these incredibly special old houses are looked after and can be appreciated. Really lovely 👌The garden setting gives you opportunity to interact with other guests
−A few items were broken (toaster, bedside light) and some items very tired (eg holes in sofa) and no frying pan. The air con unit outside bedroom 2 was very loud (all night), the bedroom windows could do with a clean and the garden desperately needs attention. Wood stove needs a damper for the chimney and door seal needs attention

6.0“Quiet Hideaway”
+Mintaro was a quaint quiet spot. Easy access to surrounding towns for weekend shopping and markets.
−Mintaro Hideaway needs some love and TLC, feedback given to owners.

9.0+Loved the rustic charm and character, the location, having a fireplace. Love to stay here again if they fix a couple of little issues
−There was no curtains on the glass doors, there was no hot water the first night and I had to find the water heater the next day and turned it up as it was set on 12° and the biggest let down was the spa did not want to turn on while we were there. Oh and need some sort of heating in the main bedroom. All that said I still loved the place

10.0“An ideal place to stay for 3 couples.”
+It was very convenient for the 3 couples to interact with each other.
−A back door needed repair although it did not affect security or ambience.

10.0“Definitely a hidden gem.”
+We were highly impressed with the comforts, cottage hygiene, the location and a pleasant outdoor area. The beds were very comfortable with extra quilts, pillows and throw blankets supplied. The comfortable large lounge furniture; very cosy, the wood fire a charm. The kitchenette had all essential plates, glassware, utensils and pots, microwave etc. The bathroom was beautifully set out with a large double spa and a shower. Toiletries, fresh fluffy towels and crisp sheets and usual cleaning items were all appreciated.
−May I suggest a rubber shower mat inside the spa for a little extra safety. The kitchen door glass panels definitely need blinds, we hung a throw rug for more privacy.
