“Mi Ca-Sa really felt like home”
+Super comfy beds. A well stocked little kitchenette. Hot water! 😁 An attractive courtyard for sitting and gathering. Great location within easy walking distance to the Paseo Montejo. All the Ubers found it easily.
−Some hooks in the bathroom would have been helpful along with some more space to put toiletries. Luggage racks in the bedrooms would be good for keeping bags off the floor.

+This was my 4th, multi-month visit to Merida in 15 years, I have always made it a habit to stay in different areas and to spend 1 month each in different accommodations on every trip. That will not be necessary in the future, I have now found my “home” in Merida, away from the noise of the historic Centro, but close to everything. The Montejo district is my favourite part of Merida and MI CA-SA is steps from the beautiful Paseo, restaurants, museums, bars, parks, laundries, WalMart and the Plaza Grande is a 20 minutes walk away. Nelson is very gracious and is extremely accommodating, he is around every day so he is very available, you can also chat with him on Whatsapp, to help with any issues or to share his extensive local knowledge of Merida and the surrounding area. Technical issues were also dealt with quickly. When I arrived I found small snacks, maps and a copy of Yucatán Today magazine, which lists current events in Mérida, on the table. I think little details like that can make all the difference in a property as it gives you some idea how much the host cares. +The location is ideal! So many places you can walk or ride one of the bikes the property has to offer. The grounds are beautiful and the owner was always available with helpful information
−I could not find where it mentioned that I our apartment would be upstairs. Narrow staircase, not any kind of railing at top. Me being someone with a hip issue found this extremely difficult. Plenty of room in the apartment however the furnishings were bare and in bad condition (most of it being particleboard). The mini blinds would not work, not close so at night there was plenty of light streaming in. They weren’t even able to adjust. The blinds gave the place a look of low quality.

“Great stay , perfect location and exceptional cleanliness”
+Near Paseo de Montejo . Quiet location not in the crowded center but an easy 12 minute walk We were able to use bicycles for the Sunday bike ride on the Paseo. Sparkling clean!! Near the Parque Plancha. A great manager whose purpose is to care for the guests . It’s a lovely small guest house with wonderful plants in the courtyard

+The location is great between Centro and Paseo de Montejo, a easy walk to either section of the city. Neilson from the property is really friendly to work with. He gives us directions and recommendation and always check in to make sure our needs are met.
−The space is a bit tight but we make it work. It would be better if the doors are with numeric code instead of physical keys. It makes it easier for check in.
