+Hosts were fab and very attentive, property felt very relaxing. Lots of space in and outside. Good location for walking( although did take a while to work out where we could walk avoiding the main road right outside the property) i would stay again at this property without a doubt.
−Beds are small, was ok for a single person but I would say the beds ( especially one downstairs) is a small double, they were okish comfort wise. Quite a musky smell when walking into the property, almost like a smell of cigarette smoke but maybe its due to it being an older style property. My friend said the bedroom/linen upstairs was quite musky too. Only 1 bathroom/toilet downstairs, if you are sleeping in the upstairs bedroom, the stairs are very steep and very low ceiling, you wouldn't want an emergency wee in the middle of the night and forget about the stairs/height!! Especially as no side to the stairs either! Other than that, the property was well maintained, very neat and tidy and everything that you would need for a couple of nights away!

“Great stay in this home from home”
+Lovely cottage and the perfect size for us as a family of 4. The garden was a sun trap and nice to relax in. The kitchen was well equipped. It's a great location for exploring the Cuckoo Trail and Weald Way footpath.
−The stairs don't have a balustrade so worth bearing in mind if you're staying with young kids.

+The Meadow View is a really great place to stay. It provides in everything, is very well cleaned and has enough space for a family. It might seem a bit small, but that's only in the pictures. It has everything you need and feels like home. The owner really replies quick. The service was really good!
−I would have liked to park on the drive way, but on the opposite side was enough space available.

“Relaxing break”
+The garden is lovely and fully safely enclosed at the back and front of the property for dogs which allowed us to fully relax with the door open
−The sofa wasn't as comfy as we would have liked more of a formal sofa than a lay out and relax one

“Two lovely nights at Meadow View”
+It was a cosy, well equipped, characteristic house to stay in. There has been put a lot love into this place!
−The beds where, to our standards, rather small so we chose too sleep separately. Also the shower an a lot of other places in the house are not suitable for tall and rather larger people. But this did not ruin the feeling of staying there! One major negative on this property is that there is a very busy road alongside it.

−Traffic noise . Not an issue in the winter as we didn't have the windows opened but may be an issue in the summer A second upstairs toilet and sink would have been great Hard to find in the dark. Is actually off Old Road

“Lovely cottage in a great location.”
+We booked the cottage for it's location and access to various places we wanted to visit during our stay. The cottage being quite near the A22 was ideal, and the vicinity of a footpath, stream and fields to walk the dogs was a wonderful bonus. Graham answered our queries quickly before we set off and also messaged us towards the end of the stay to check everything had been ok, which was nice. We would also highly recommend the K2 Indian restaurant/takeaway just down the A22 towards Polegate
−The fridge and freezer were great and the cooker was fine on the couple of occasions we used it. There wasn't a lot of space in the kitchen for putting other food we brought, or drawer space for clothes in the downstairs bedroom as these already had things in them. However, this did not detract too much from the visit
