“Great glamping experience near Berry Head”
+Great location, lovely site. SH3 was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need for a short stay. Lovely walk around the nature reserve to Berry Head. Coop close by in walking distance for the essentials.
−Sofa bed is small in width for my giant children, aged 9 & 12. Our problem not yours but worth noting for families travelling with older children. Also, I know it was last minute booking but we had no bedding or towels for four, reception advised they could only give sheets. Workable for our two night break could have done with a quilt to lie on to make it more comfy.

“Wouldn’t stay in these huts again, nice site but to have a play area right next to the huts spoils what could be a nice”
+Liked that it had its own bathroom and decking area.
−Situated right next to a child’s play area. The children were constantly screaming, arguing and unsupervised. Although we went during school holidays and expected to hear children, this was next level noise and then an argument between parents erupted. The manager came and spoke to the people in the shepherds huts to find out what had happened, but after 4 evenings of unruly kids it took an argument between parents and management stepping in before normality in the play area was resumed.

“Overall pleasant relaxing experience.”
+Peaceful Spot, Room had everything you need for a short stay but no WiFi mobile internet signal was strong enough. Requested extra bedding and pillow also put in a special request for a fan and nothing was a problem very accommodating. The local harbour Brixham was very nice lots of upper class restaurants selling a mixture of menus - fresh fish was available in most of the restaurants.
−The kids play park could be developed more for toddlers.

“A peaceful and lovely place to stay, the perfect in between of town and countryside. Would definitely recommend.”
+The shepherds hut is lovely. It’s modern and clean and love the outside space. The campsite was also a great place to be, walking distance from town but also feels remote and peaceful.
−Although inside the hut was very clean, the decking hadn’t been cleaned properly. We found food and old cigarettes.

“Relaxed and pleasant.”
+The location was absolutely superb, making everything easily accessible and convenient. The surrounding area was clean, well-maintained, and felt very safe. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service at reception. The gentleman there was incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was okay and that I had everything I needed. His genuine care and professionalism made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would gladly return.
