“enjoyed it so much we have booked for next year as we attend a Tai Chi Summer retreat each year”
+location was perfect, very comfortable and clean, well kept grounds and a bus service outside the cottages on main road.
−the front door handle fell off but we managed to put it back on and it didn't interfere with locking the door

“Okay for a night's stay”
+Great location, friendly people, quiet.
−It wasn't very clean. Crumbs on the sofa, glasses in the cupboard dirty and some random stones on the floor behind the chair (have to go behind it to get to the plug sockets). Couldn't change the temperature of the shower.

“Well located for Bempton, Flamborough and Bridlington”
+Large fridge-freezer and well-equipped kitchen. Secure location and specific parking for Martingale. A strong reason for booking was the availability of two bedrooms, both of which were very acceptable. Generally quiet, minimal traffic noise in the distance.
−WiFi was OKish but joining was slow and data rate patchy. Personally, we are not fans of wet-room showers.

+We have just returned from a family 2 night break. The cottage was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. We were lucky with the weather so the outdoor seating area was a bonus. The cottages are in a lovely peaceful setting with a couple of pubs and a farm shop within walking distance. Can also recommend Coble Bakes cake shed in Sewerby which does amazing home made cakes. You can also walk into Bridlington which is a nice walk along the Cliff tops. We met the owner Wendy who was very friendly and communications were very good throughout the booking..Toiletries and complimentary tea/coffee & biscuits were much appreciated Would definitely enjoy another stay here 😀
−WiFi and mobile signal dipped in & out which wasnt too much of a problem as we were just happy enjoying our holiday. Shower a bit weak but again didn't spoil anything and would definitely re book.

“A really enjoyable place to stay, away from the crowds yet within easy access to the wonderful East Yorkshire coastal wa”
+Quiet location, yet also on a bus route to Bridlington and Flamborough. 15 minute pleasant walk to Sewerby village for walks along the cliffs and 2 pubs, The Old Forge and the Ship.
−The walk in shower and electric unit could do with a renovation
