7.0+The yummy homemade breakfast and the lovely garden, enclosed for dogs too
−TV was not watchable, a bigger fridge would be good

9.0+There was everything you need ... various teas, coffees, a fridge for fresh milk and even chocolate cookies. The facilities were spotless and it was quirky and interesting. The bed was very comfortable and the setting was peaceful. A clever use of space and even had a garden area and parking space. Lovely friendly host. Would highly recommend.

10.0“Cozy, charming and full of character!!!”
+Nigel was really attentive and quick to respond to all our enquiries. The apartment was lovely, cozy, and full of character. What made it especially charming were all the little details and unique touches throughout the space, from the artwork and books to little notes and decorations you wouldn’t normally find everywhere. Everything gave the apartment a very original, personal feel and made it a really lovely place to stay.

8.0+Nice quiet area near shops and beach ⛱️
−Dangerous objects around for a pet friendly place 2 nails in wood under plant near back fence Broken ordements in garden Mental spikes in soil Big dead empty space at end of decking/garden area. Sunbeds could be there with table. Less plants and on decking area with a couple of palm trees would make it more spacious giving holiday vibes for people who do not drive and have pets and just want to relax at property. Skulls head at end of garden where people pay and stay not to my liking. Owners garden and where people pay and stay need to be kept separate.

7.0+Mango Lodge was clean, and had what we needed for an overnight stay before going on the Eurotunnel. Herne Bay is nicer than staying near the terminal! Old school British seaside town
−A microwave would have been handy but it is a small summer house type accommodation so maybe that's asking for too much

10.0“Perfect.”
+We liked everything about Mango Lodge. Nigel is an exceptional and lovely host. He maintains a wonderful small garden with diverse flowers and vegetables, a small decking area for meals but also a table and chair inside should the weather be inclement. The lodge is small but very comfortable, and both secluded and close to Herne Bay seafront. (We were there for me to take part in the half marathon and meet up with old friends...so didn't spend time on Herne Bay sea-front, so I haven't really commented on that aspect.) I have stayed in a lot of small B&Bs, and had some wonderful breakfasts, but Nigel's are by far the best whether full English or vegetarian where he Nigel prioritises quality. We would not hesitate to recommend Mango Lodge to others....and have already passed on details to our friends. Thank you Nigel.
−There was nothing to dislike.
