“Stunning remodeled condo in a prime location with views for days.”
+Gorgeous property just a quick 7 minute walk from the train station and right next door to the Herculaneum. 10-15 minute walk to the Mediterranean and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Post office is right across the street if you need to mail anything home. Beds are comfortable and the washer/dryer combo work perfectly. WiFi is a little slow but that was fine for us. Nice size kitchen and the view is top notch. Amazing little pizza restaurant right downstairs. Would absolutely stay again. The area is a little run down and I say this only to prepare you. It was perfect for us and We always felt safe.. remember, it’s OLD, and with that comes the charm and history that Italy is known for.

“Disappointing lack of facilities and cleanliness”
+General decor was nice, very close to hercaleum and train station. Nice view from the window.
−The apartment wasn't clean, the shower had pubes and mould in it, the sink ledge was dirty, the corners of the bathroom were not clean with dust and hairs in them, the sink wasn't cleaned around the ring. The hand held shower head was broken and didn't connect properly to the unit. We suspect that the linen on one of the beds hadn't been changed as there were stains and hairs and the sheets weren't very straight. We changed the sheets but still found hairs and stains on the new sheets in the drawers. There was a large mouldy area on the main bedroom wall/ceiling and an iron nut no ironing board. Plus the iron had a plug that didn't fit with the sockets in the apartment. We had a 4 night booking and were disappointed with the lack of amenities, there was no cleaning equipment, so no cloth, no new clean sponge, and no tea towel. No dishwasher tablets so it was no use to us. I found a dirty bucket with dirty cloths and a couple of sponges under the sink. The fridge hadn't been cleaned, cleaned it the best I could with one of the sponge I found and dishwashing soap I found under the fridge. The floors were still dirty. And we didn't end up having enough toilet paper provided for 4 of u

+The flat is in an excellent location and provides good accommodation for a small group. The kitchen utensils are limited; we had to request a chopping board and knife. A tea towel would also have been expected.

“Great location in historical town to tour Amalfi Coast and Bay of Naples”
+This apartment is located in the historical town of Ercalano. Ideal location to see Amalfi Coast, Bay of Naples & Capri. Lovely restaurants and cafe bars for dinner and breakfast all within a 5 minute walk. Train station Ercalano Scavi (there are 3 Ercalano train stations) is 10 minutes walk. Sorrento by train 1 hour and Naples 20 minutes. Excellent Info Office near Ercalano Scavi train station where you can book boat trips to Capri, Amalfi Coast etc... Pick up from outside the apartment so very convenient. We had considered hiring a car but did not need it.
−No elevator, Apartment on 3rd Floor. A second couch in living area would be good.

+The location is in an old but quiet building. From the apartment you can see the sea, a wonderful view. The apartment offers you all the comfort.The beds are large and very comfortable, large windows, equipped kitchen.
