“Great location, too many communication demands”
+Location is great! Everything was clean and functional (except coffee maker which was acknowledged, said he'd look at it but didn't seem to and never mentioned again.)
−Overbearing with too much communication and stress! Added an extra tourism fee after the fact, held an additional deposit on the card, needed to send everyone's ID in advance, had to acknowledge receipt of check-in details, message as soon as checked in, and again on check-out. Just a lot of demands through Booking.com messaging. All the "modern" glass and marble feels dated, and gaps between glass doors in bathroom and bedrooms doesn't feel/sound private. Calgary was going through a heatwave so the apartment did get quite hot and there’s no air conditioning, but fans were provided.

“Great location , but could be cleaner. K”
+Location
−Dishes in cupboard not very clean. Bathroom lacked adequate shelving or countertop for personal items. Extra charge for parking over room price is excessive.

“I would return again”
+Good location, good communication by the host. Comfortable beds (mind your shins on tbe frames though), with clean linen.
−Kitchen utensils, crockery, and pans are a bit "tired". Usable but needed rinsing before use.

“An honest and hardworking loft service!”
+The owner is incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. If there's an issue, he's quick to sort it out WITH you. Personally, this is the most valuable positive attribute of the hospitality industry. The beds were clean and comfortable, noise from other guests was no issue at all, and the loft had every facility you need for a city stay. The area is unbelievably convenient, everything from groceries to bank services were only a brisk walk away. Exterior like the front lawn is very well kept; beautiful row of poppies were just outside of our 1st floor window.
−The loft we received didnt look like the pictures. A few minor things, like the Roku TV remote and closet doors, were in slight disrepair. Not broken and inoperable, but difficult to use.
