“Fine for what we needed”
+The location was good. The flat was spacious.
−The approach isn’t great down the alley but a little tlc could make the flat entrance feel better. The flat itself is spacious but let down by cleanliness and finishing. It’s not luxury but it’s warm and dry. It did the job for what we needed but wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer or to have cooked using the cooker or washing machine. We had to rewash plates, cups etc to use them. Aarron was great and sorted a key for us which wasn’t available when we arrived although the flat was unlocked. No info regarding the flat/bins/internet etc which would have helped. It is the cheapest accommodation in the area and better than some we have stayed in. A bit more attention to detail and it would be a super place. I’d rather pay more for a higher spec next time.

“Dust and dirty unusable kitchen spoilt the rest, had to find alternative accommodation.”
+The location was convenient for visiting family. Communication beforehand and finding the key were fine. Directions were accurate. A degree of superficial cleaning had been done When I asked if the food was actually intended for us I was told we could use anything there. Good shower. Bathroom okay except towels.
−It didn't smell fresh. Kitchen was dirty. Cupboards were dirty with random half-open food, half finished jar of mouldy jam. Oven was dirty inside. Towels in bathroom were damp Sheets had holes from cigarette burns and didn't seem entirely clean and fresh One bed had dust on the sheet suggesting it had been made up weeks/months earlier. Another sheet had what looked like cat hairs. There were stains on the bedding. I suffer allergic asthma and am allergic to dust mites. This place triggered my asthma and I had to leave asap and find alternative accommodation. It needs a really good deep clean. There was a layer of dust on the fan. If we had used it this would have blown all over the room. There was an open packet of half eaten ice cream or something in the freezer The fridge contained two bottles of ketchup and nothing else. I really wasn't sure if the food that was there was for us, or just what the former folk left behind. To be honest I didn't really want to touch it. So the dust, lack of cleanliness and the state of the kitchen did it for me. The person I had whatsapp contact with (Aarron/Beth) apologised and said they would look into it and speak with the owner and the cleaner.

“Awful.”
+We couldn’t stay in the apartment as it was too dirty. Left after 30 mins. Requested refund which was done quickly by owner.
−Down a backstreet, grim entrance, dirty bedding, hairs and blood stains in bed. Rammy looking towels, oven tray caked in crap and grease. Hair on dish cleaner. Just awful.

“Centrally located, value for money but in need of some TLC”
+Centrally located, very comfortable bed and bedding, friendly owner and the wifi worked super. Value for money - overall I would stay here again for this price
−The apartment is in need of TLC and a thorough clean. The oven was extremely dirty, the baking trays unusable, all surfaces (mirrors, fridge, microwave, windows etc) smeared. The boiler conked out on one occasion. No bed side lights in one bedroom and no spare bulbs. TV was only usable with Amazon Prime. The flat was a little cold, the two electric heaters were really needed. As the bedrooms are on the main road the noise can be an issue. The entrance through the back alley is not pleasant at night for a single woman. Check-in was a little complicated, a key lock box would save time and make things easier

“Not what lead to believe”
+Property is in very good location, walking distance to the main high street and supermarket.
−Property access is via a metal core escape staircase. I dont think it can be classed as a luxury apartment, it needed a good clean, portable radiators were dirty so was the cooling fan, bathroom needed a good clean around the floor and corners, microwave not clean inside, the floor had been swept and just left in corner by cooker, numerous areas of paintwork very grubby. Very disappointed.

+The apartment was lovely and homely, great view from kitchen window. Beds were comfortable. It has everything you need.
−It's hard to locate the property. The entrance to the property is down a back alley with 2 flights of metal stairs. Then another flight of stairs upon entering the apartment.
