“Pathetic.”
+The property was well furnished and clean. Homely
−Too much noise. The walls are very thin so u could hear everything as though it was happening next to u. On thursday, the neighbours played very loud music we couldnt sleep the whole night till 3am and we had to be up at 5am. On last day friday there were i think parties. Despite being tired from lack of sleep and hard day, we again couldnt sleep and we had to be up early to catch morning flight. I concluded that it was more of a students residence. So i wouldnt recommend if you intend on resting. The kitchen tap wasnt functional. We had to clean dishes at dinning sink. Windows lack latches so the wind blew them and the hitting sound was unbearable. The water had a weird smell and taste. Not sure if its contamination or over treatment. The owner promised to handle our issues but as i said, it was just a promise. She was not bothered.

−The hanging line being at the roof top,and not being given hoese cleaning materials or having soke one clean the room despite having a long stay and I can't buy moppers either....

“Disappointing”
+Spacious suite, comfortable bed, strong wifi, very friendly female security officer.
−Suite was not properly stocked upon arrival (drinking water, serviettes, shower gel, etc…). Housekeeping was not automatically offered (had to call for every little thing and was made to feel like a burden). No air conditioning as advertised. But the worst part of this stay was the noise. Major construction happening right outside, with hammering starting around 8am each day. Could not relax. Had the property rightfully informed me about this beforehand, I would have cancelled this very important stay and stayed somewhere else. Hoping the management will provide some form of compensation. Otherwise I cannot recommend Lumo Residences.

“It’s a beautiful stay, by all standards, it’s an upscale and beautiful home. The issue with the shower is the only major”
+Modern, clean house with a beautiful view of eldoret from the balcony. The house is tastefully decorated, would recommend a longer stay to truly appreciate it. The penthouse we stayed in had a really large living room and big enough dinning table, comfortable couches, heater in the living room was a life saver!!! The bed was super comfy too!
−The shower was a huge disappointment on all 3 days we were there. The shower nozzles were blocked on the first day so a very small amount of water came out which wasn’t enough to shower- this was fixed after we complained but it should honestly be part of regular maintenance. Other days the shower didn’t have hot water- eldoret mornings are very cold so this was a huge disappointment. No lifts so if you’re going to 5th floor- you’ll need to be fit. Would be good to mention this on the property description so someone knows what they’re in for.

+Great communication for the host. She facilitated a late check in and she was very responsive. The checkin process was fast and seamless. The place is quiet and serene. Slightly off the highway but close enough for convenience. Very clean apartment
