10.0“An excellent getaway location with good amenities and a picturesque view, for those who like a little distance from the”
+Beautiful property and home! The best place to stay in my opinion. It is a remote stay in an historic and beautiful home surrounded by beautiful Scottish country, but also is close to the lovely town centre of Innerleithen. A trip to Edinburgh is a simple £11 bus ticket. Absolutely worth it.
−I have no complaints! It was quiet and peaceful with ample accommodations.

7.0“Great base for a cycling holiday”
+Quirky property in a quiet, secluded location. Excellent cycling and walking from the front door.
−It's disconcerting that there are no signs (anywhere) to tell you you are travelling in the right direction, or even that you have arrived at the right place.

10.0“Superbly fitted, very comfortable apartment in a beautiful spot at a very reasonable price.”
+My plans changed last minute - I arrived much earlier than expected - but this was no problem. Ted is the perfect unflappable host.
−Shower is a bit underpowered - but that's to be expected with the position of the water supply.

8.0“we enjoyed our stay as we like beautiful rural areas and character buildings”
+location was excellent for us, quiet and beautiful . an old house with plenty of character. plenty of easy accessible parking. good cooking facilities. pleasant and helpful hosts. plentiful hot and cold water.
−no shower just an old bath which is a bit difficult to get in and out of. no accessible opening windows. no dish cleaning brush, pot scrubber or cleaning cloths in the kitchen.

10.0“A real home away from home.”
+What a fantastic stay at Leithen Lodge in Innerleithen. The location was absolutely perfect for a cycling adventure weekend, with incredible riding right on the doorstep and stunning scenery all around. The accommodation itself was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed after long days out exploring. It felt like a real home away from home. The peaceful surroundings and relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind in the evenings. The hosts were brilliant throughout, welcoming, friendly and helpful, which really added to the overall experience. I stayed here while attending the Muck n Mac festival and honestly couldn’t have picked a better base. Whether you’re visiting for cycling, hiking or simply to enjoy the Scottish Borders, I’d highly recommend Leithen Lodge. Would absolutely stay again!

10.0“Close enough to everyone but far away enough to get peace and quiet!”
+To sum it up there was nothing that we didn't like. The property was incredible and it is set in some amazing grounds. If you want peace and quiet with little connection to the outside world it is perfect. The phone signal is non existent which is great but if you do want that connection the Wi-Fi makes up for this with good speeds. The hosts were accommodating and friendly and took the time to see why you were in the area so that they could recommend activities and food etc. It is far away enough from innerleithen for the quiet but close enough to go in to town for tea or to pick food up. It's a 10 minute drive from the town. We used the accommodation as a base for mountain biking. It is a 10 minute pedal to the base of the golfie tracks and a 25-30 minute pedal to the top of the mast at Glentress on an easy fire road climb so you couldn't be in a better position. There is secure bike storage which is great and also access to a hose to wash the bikes off. The facilities in the house were great, it is an old property and we were glad that the host didn't try to make this modern because it added to the overall experience. its got great kitchen facilities, a shower, and a comfortable
