+It was amazing and the promise of an amazing holiday experience was more than met. The apartment was very, very large and comes with a massive terrace that goes to the side of the apartment. It felt like we had exclusivity at the property despite other rooms being booked. It is a very serene and comfortable establishment, and each apartment looks and feels classy. The cleaning, security and maintenance staff are constantly looking for ways to assist. They are really appreciated. I would definitely book here again.
−A cheeky comment: The host may want to use a more seductive tone and welcoming language when dealing with clients, as some may take his tone the wrong way. But focusing on the facts, he was swift in his job and was flexible with us for check-in. Then, they may need to change the Italian sockets if they're to keep receiving local/international clients.

“Blissful Stay in a quaint and well maintained slice of Malindi”
+The rooms were really good, beautiful, spacious, and well-ventilated. The gardens and pool were a delight as well. Definitely coming back to enjoy for longer
−The process of ID information collection at the gate could be swifter and more effective. Given the small distance to the road, a list of trusted boda boda riders and TukTuk numbers could come in handy for ease of movement

“Advertised Paradise, Delivered a Nightmare!!”
+Rooms were big and spacious
−This was honestly one of the worst B&B experiences I have ever had. The property was nothing like what was advertised. There was no reception, the AC was not working, and the place was full of mosquitoes. The bed and bedding were dirty, and there were bedbugs, making it extremely uncomfortable and unhygienic to stay there. The property was advertised as having a beach view and beach access, but there was no beach view and no direct access to the beach as advertised. The security personnel were also rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful. To make matters worse, when I tried contacting the host about these issues, they did not answer my calls, did not call back, and did not respond to my messages. Given the circumstances, it felt like they were avoiding the situation rather than trying to resolve it. I had paid for several days, but because of the condition of the property, I decided not to stay for the remaining days. I requested a refund for the unused days, but this was refused. What made the situation even more disappointing was being made to feel that the refund would not be considered after I said I would leave an honest review about my experience. “Disaster experience with no host to rescue us”
+The Place was clean, big and secured with pool near
−The AC was not working and makindi its extremely hot and they had no fans. The hosts were not receiving calls nor calling back even though I even sent several messages too explaining but nobody called back to sort us. There's no reception or office so we had to talk to the security guys who shut us by saying those were not part of their jobs. Tv too never works. The beds and sofas had dirty lines meaning were not cleaned well from the previous users. Im not sure but seems like there were bedbugs too coz we had a rough night's with the heat and no Ac and the scratching the whole night ,not sure was scabies or bedbugs or what! We had to leave the 2nd day despite paying for few nights

“Good option for budget minded family”
+Good location. Large apartment with basic necessities for self catering. Beautiful garden and view of the sea. Clean. Good price.
−WiFi and TV not working. No onsite food options. But likely because we were out of season and the only guests.

+The ambience of the place is amazing. The location is great, close to shops and convenience stores. Clean for the most part
−There are cats at the property so these leave quite a lot of fur on the furniture. The cutlery is rusting, changing it from the gold cutlery to the stainless steel is recommended

“It was genuinely okay”
+The property was clean and the gateman was extremely nice , he made our stay much better and made moving around a lot easier
−Network issues are unbearable, we had issues with WiFi our whole stay and the pool wasn’t clean so we really could swim as much but everything else was okay

+The location is excellent,very easy to access and wonderfully calm and peaceful. The staff members were wonderful, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay.
−* Ocean View: On Booking.com, the listing mentioned an ocean view, but it wasn't visible from the room. * Privacy: While the sheer window coverings provide nice natural light during the day, at night when the lights are on indoors, passersby can see right inside. Adding heavy window curtains alongside the sheers would solve this privacy issue. * Furniture Care: The sofa cushions need attention; the white covers had visible stains and should be cleaned or replaced.
