+The location was excellent, just a short distance from the lake and conveniently close to local shops, making it easy to explore the area and pick up anything we needed. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything required for self-catering, and the outdoor BBQ area was a great addition, perfect for relaxing and enjoying meals outside. The bathroom facilities were excellent, with a powerful, spacious shower. The air conditioning was also greatly appreciated, especially during the warmer weather, and helped keep the accommodation comfortable throughout our stay. The host was very friendly and welcoming, taking the time to meet us both when we arrived and again before we left. It was a lovely personal touch that made us feel genuinely valued as guests.
−The only real downside for us was the sleeping arrangement. I hadn't realised quite how low the ceiling was in the sleeping area, and it made moving around the bed rather uncomfortable. Even two hobbits from the Shire would probably struggle to stand up comfortably! We are only in our 30s and one night in that bed made us feel 70. Unfortunately, the bed itself was also very firm, which wasn't to our liking. To make matters worse, there was only one pillow per person, and they were extremely thin and lumpy. We ended up using an inflatable camping pillow to get a decent night's sleep. One thing worth mentioning is that there was quite a bit of noise from the surrounding area during our stay. Every day, a local boy spent hours riding a moped up and down nearby, often for long periods at a time, accompanied by grass cutting. This is, of course, not the host's fault and is completely outside of their control. However, as it happened every day we were there, it gave the impression that this is fairly typical of the neighbourhood rather than a one-off occurrence. If you're looking for complete peace and quiet during the day, it's something worth bearing in mind. That said, it didn't take

+The most wonderful host. Very friendly and helpful. Made us feel so welcome in their holiday home. Lavender Lodge was perfect. Couldn't fault it. It was immaculate, fully equipped, peaceful and only a 5 minute walk to the promenade. The bed was so comfortable with beautiful fresh linen. We our breakfast outside and spent wonderful evenings in the private courtyard. And enjoyed our coffee over looking the beautiful valley. We would definitely book again.

“A beautiful lodge with great views in a quiet location close to Lake Bled”
+The lodge is beautiful and clean with all the facilities we needed. The location is peaceful and a very short walk to Lake Bled. There is a beautiful outside space with great views and BBQ facilities . The owners are very friendly and helpful and offered lots of helpful information on local restaurants and activities. Everything was perfect for our stay.

+- die Unterkunft sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern, man fühlt sich direkt wie zu Hause. Besonders die Kaffeeterasse hat uns sehr gefallen. - sehr sauber und super ausgestattet - uns gefiel die ruhige Lage abseits vom Trubel. Man sollte aber wissen, dass es dort entsprechend ländlich riecht. Man ist trotzdem in 10 Gehminuten am See und in 20 min im Städtchen. - sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber
